Why cant spanish people learn english
If you are already breaking the law and swimming over or climbing a fence to get into this country can you please learn how to speak fucking english? I am tired of all the fucking spics in florida that can not speak any english whatsoever. Its bad enough that we let you stay and give you special benefits but you dont care about that and wont even reform to our tongue. Learn our language you dirty whores and dont take a good white mans job for less money before you can.Rating:4.56

1Amen to that. One of the reasons I'm soon leaving Florida. When all of the fucking billboards start going up in Spanish, and every place you go prompts you to "choose a language" to make a transaction, it's time to send a couple of Cat 5's through to give this place an enema, and wash 'em all back into the Gulf.

2I live in Orlando and we get a bit of that here but south Florida is being ruined by the hispanics. Almost any store you go to has bilingual signs but the thing that pissed me off the most recently happened when I had to go to a Target the last time I was in Miami and the signs for the different departments were in both English and Spanish yet the Spanish was on top. WTF?

6*ha* work harder? Hasn't happened here. We can't keep any of 'em on staff longer than a month - they either don't show up for work, leave early for no reason, get busted for drugs or stealing or fighting.

8I have nothing against Latins or any other nationality or race but what bugs the hell out of me is people that come to America to get away from their own country for whatever reason and then refuse to assimilate into our society. They come here and find the areas where more of their people live and turn that part of America into a little piece of their own country. If you ever accidentally stumble into Hialeah, Florida, which used to be a nice Miami suburb, you will swear you just transported to Cuba. You won't find anyone that speaks English unless they stumbled in too, and all of the shops, restaurants and businesses will all be owned by Cubans and most of them don't want anyone there that isn't Cuban.
The same is true in most major cities. You'll find little Italy, little Havana, little Viet Nam, Chinatown, etc. The people that immigrate here find their way straight to those communities and never need to learn to speak English and just continue living like they did where they came from.
The pisser is when those people end up making the rest of us change the way we do things to accommodate them. Immigrants should be required to adapt to our society, period.

10(LOL)...You people are simply IDIOTS!! First of all, the Latinos that reside in Florida are mostly Cubans, who are here LEGALLY. The U.S. goverment agreed to allow Cubans to reside in this country even if you make it across the ocean. The reson being is because there is a dictator in Cuba that is ruining the lives of its people. So when Cubans come here they are given citizenship and a social security card, and they immediately lok for employment. Cubans are bred to work hard and provide for their families, so maybe you've run into some bad apples, but please don't generalize to the entire class. If you REALLY want to know who is taking advantage of welfare in this country and thus milking our economy, do some research on the matter and you will learn that whites/caucasians are the culprits. I know this and I'm white ;)

11As for immigrants adapting to our culture, I think that's a joke. It's like asking my 60 year old father to talk more about his feelings and not pretend everything is fine. It's not going to happen because he is accustomed to doing this and will never change. I'm sure the kids of these Cubans can speak English and will contribute to our failing economy. And if you don't like Spanish speaking places, then why are some of you spending so much time in such areas? If you look at our entire country, it's almost exclusively white when it comes to CEO's, CFO's, and presidents. So stop with the racism and if you don;t like Florida, go swim over to Cuba ;)

13its simple...you go to a country and want people to respect your culture...learn theirs...learn fucking english...i lived in albania for awhile and learned their language...people respected that fact. Even the simple fact that living in america english is all around you...you have to try to not learn english

15Writer #12, if your only issue is with people in the state of Florida and a sole Target store, then why would you generalize to the entire nation? I have traveled all over Florida and yes, Spanish is spoken more often than in may other states, but if you get out of Florida you will see that Spanish is spoken everywhere. It's just spoken a little more in Florida due to the influx of Cubans (90 miles away) and vast farming opportunities for other Spanish speaking individuals. Should I generalize that all whites are IDIOTS like you? Of course not, that wouldn't be fair to the majority of intelligents whites like myself. Thanks for making our race seem smarter ASSHOLE ;)
