I tore my Achilles Tendon in half

I play in a flag football league with a friend of mine's church. And before i hear any shit from anyone, NO i am not trying to relive any glory days or think that "i can still play". Although i am only 23, i do not take sports seriously any more due to a lifetime of making sports my life. Anyways, to get to the point, it was the fourth quarter and probably only 5 minutes left in the entire game. As i dropped back to pass which i've done a thousand times before; i turned to run. All of a sudden i felt the most excruciating pain i've felt in a loooong time. I immediately thought someone had run from the sidelines and hit the back of my leg with a baseball bat. As idiotic as that sounds, i truly believed that someone hit me. I immediately fell to the ground pissed off out of my mind. Who in the world hit me? i asked. But then noticed that the closest person to me was about 10 feet away. I managed to literally crawl to my car and to the hospital. If you don't know already, the achilles tendon is the strongest and thickest tendon in your body that attaches your calf to the bottom of your heel. Well, to make a long story short, i have tendon reconstructive surgery next thursday and for the next 6 months will be in a cast. And being a fairly active individual, the worst part was the doctor told me i wouldn't be able to run again for at least a year. A whole fucking year!!!!!!! can you believe that shit??????? Not only that but i also had chipped my tooth about 6 months ago and for someone great fucking reason it decided to start hurting just now. I have vicodine for my leg but i didn't need it for my leg. I had to succumb to taking the vicodine because my tooth was hurting so fucking bad that i couldn't even sleep. So I made a dentist and have to get a root canal. Your probably thinking, "man, that's pretty shitty". Well let me give you one other fucking great piece of information. Today, yes today, is the first official day of my spring break of what has turned out to be my most challenging academic semester of my life. Can you believe that shit. So i came here to say, fuck you, fuck tendons, fuck school, and fucking fuck everyone. I hate my life right now.........

I strained my Achilles tendon when I was a kid and remember how bad it hurt. I can only imagine what it would feel like if it actually tore. Kind of sucks that you had to crawl to your car and no one helped you though. Nice bunch of flag football buddies you've got there.
