Silence is golden
Cell phones have long been an agitation for me, if it's not an utterly annoying ring tone it's some guy making date plans (and simultaneously making all the women in the room uncomfortable). *sigh* It used to be if you wanted to make a call you would wait until you were home or go into a phone booth and shut the door. Today however takes the cake:I was sitting in the university library trying my damnedest to study for a symbolic logic exam (50+ step proofs, no words, many rules, not fun). I have papers sprawled across the desk I'm studying at filled with problems and solutions that would make the average mans head spin and I'm so focused on my book that I don't even notice the girl sit down. Suddenly the girl is on the phone screaming obscenities. this would be unpleasant anywhere but keep in mind this was a library. the sheer stupidity wasn't over yet though, the librarian came over and asked the girl to kindly take her conversation outside to which the girl replied by screaming about how rude people were and pushing my book off the table before storming out.

2I much prefer ESP. My friends and I can talk and no one has to hear us or think we're being rude.

3I hate drama queens.
Good gawd, no one wants to hear your business.. take your call elsewhere.
Im a server and I hate it when I come to a table to find them on the phone.. most of the time they get off the phone or at least tell em to 'hold on'.. other times they just sit and talk.
i could understand if it's an emergency (which is why I have my cell) but honestly.. I dont want to hear your "oh baby poo.. you dont feel well? are you sick? awwwwweee.. poor baby!"
