You made the choice

You made the choice to smoke the weed at 12.

You made the choice to become a drunk at 14.

You made the choice to get her pregnant at 15.

You made the choice to drop out of highschool 16.

Wow, you left the gang at 23 to find a job and support your 6 year old son.

But wait you don't know how to add 2+2 or read?

Awww that's ok, the democrats want to establish a government that will help you and support you because its THEIR fault that your in the situation your in.

Because where does the government's money really come from? Yeah, that's right, trees.... .... ..

Barrack Insane Obama and Hillary Milhouse Clinton want to hold the poor's hands while everyone else has to pay for the choices that they conciously made.

    what a fuckin hater.

Yeah, money does grow on trees. I have one in my backyard.

If the government ever offers me any kind of compensation, I'm taking it. Even though I can read and write.

What a bullshit accusation. Although I don't care for either of the Dems' candidates either, I think this is a piss poor interpretation of how social programs are designed to work. Better than the corporate welfare that the Bush clan is siphoning from us.

You decided to artificially manipulate energy prices through commodities markets for your own personal benefit.

You decided to treat the coffers of your Fortune 500 company as your personal piggy bank

You decided to take a $300 million plus retirement package from the pharmacuetical company you were the CEO of the declined 40% in stock price in the four years you were there

You decided to lie to your shareholders while dumping your own stock and lead to the greatest coorporate bankruptcy in history

But its all OK. Bushy Bush has your back, and so will the next prez. You really shouldnt be taxed at any higher than 17%. So what if people making $100, 000 a year are taxed at twice your rate. So what if Warren Buffet says people like you are undertaxed. He isnt that smart anyway. You should get to do whatever the hell you want, and make everyone else suffer the wrath. Yeah, and Im sure WMD will be found any day know, and that the founding fathers favored the complete lack of Habeus Corpus

Commenter #1 is clueless. Where do you think the money would come from? You do realize the government doesn't make money like a store, right? and that the compensation comes from your tax dollars, right? Kind of like sending your mom a check for $100 for Christmas and her sending you a check for $100 for your birthday.

Everybody please! I know the Republicans have made some mistakes over the past eight years, but we must give credit where credit is due.

If there is one thing they have proven it is that they, more than anyone else, can handle fiscal responsibility.

They have cut defeceit spending and pushed our budgeting into a surplus.

They have cut our National Debt in MORE than half since 2002. Not only that, but our efforts in Iraq have resulted in billions of dollars of revenue every couple weeks! Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of people whose lives are better off now than they ever were before!

    God bless the GOP!!

Where does #6 get his or her "national debt" figures? Probably from Fox News or something. Google the term and you'll see the REAL graphs. Also, there is NO "revenue" flowing from Iraq, only half a trillion dollars of our grandchildren's money being sucked in. And I guess half a million dead in Iraq and Afghanistan counts for "some mistakes." Grrr. I'm sick of the Reps AND the Dems. It's all the same bull.

Well, for every person that screwed up their own life and initially had a chance to be successful, there are three that were born into poverty, shitty school systems, and an overall FUCKED up environment...

I'm just saying, even if you disagree with social programs like welfare, they ARE helping people who will eventually get back on their feet. Not everyone who recieves gov. checks is a loser. You could lose your job tomorrow and be homeless.

Why don't you complain about how much of your tax dollars are paying to blow up some innocent family's house?

Do you expect people to go on living hopeless? Living broke in our economy sucks. Seriously, why hate on something that you have never been through, you overpriveledged fool.

Try being a landlord, with nothing but section 8 (government assisted HUD housing, mostly welfare) cases as tenants. Out of a $600 monthly rent, the tenant contributes maybe $50. Then, watch them sit on their ass, watching stolen cable, while their children are not enrolled in school. How do you afford your smoking habit, my friend? That alone costs you $150 per month. Please tell me that is your highest expense for this month. Oh, it isn't? You have a car too? And a dog? And you drink? Welfare is an epic failure. It removes the fiscal responsibility and incentives that are inherent to capitalism. Essentially, it is what is left of the socialist movement, watered down and made unsustainable for future generations. What is needed, is a return to fiscally responsible governmental policies that reward those willing to contribute to society, at whatever level of the societal totem pole. Reaganomics was a boon to our country.

We're always fucked when we waste money on people who really just don't give a flying fuck anymore, like those "I need some crack" junkies in school and are always skipping class. If you're going to cut classes all day, you should just drop out you dumb bitch, and leave the money to those who want/need to learn like, reading and writing properly, instead of the shortcut crap like "OMG, LOL, BTW" from text junkies.
