6I have a job where I am one of the few teenagers working, and I see teeny bopper customers come in, being obnoxious and doing stupid things that just beg for attention, so I understand that.
I'm not sure what incident encouraged your rant, but I'd like to think it's nothing I'm generally involved with. 1, 2, and 5 really don't help our case. I'm ashamed of my age group.
But honestly. Teenagers aren't the only ones guilty of what they do.

11When I first got into college, the first thing I noticed was that you were treated like an ADULT. You were treated with respect and allowed to call the instructor by their first name, but only if YOU gave the respect BACK. If you were stupid enough to deliberately disobey the instructor, then you were not to be invited back to class. The students are there to learn, not to spend money hearing about how your life is over just because you did a silly little mistake in front of some guy/girl. We have lives too, and they involve getting an education.
Work is much the same. If you act like an ass, and get fired, it will stay on your ass FOR-EV-ER! You get paid, but only by their grace because they are the ones who decided to hire you in the first place. I don't want to hear about how you got trashed on the weekend. Save it for the break room or for when I'm out of earshot. It is extremely unprofessional and makes you look stupid.
Sorry for the long post but that's my 2c.
