The sign said HOSPITAL, not HILTON

We are not here to cater to your every fucking whim. No, I don't know when the dr's coming - you do know he has OFFICE hrs, procedures, etc also to get to today, right? Dumbass. Yell at him for not being here earlier, not me. I'm ready to bring a blow up doll and dress him in a lab coat and throw him at you.

PS= I'm sorry we didn't answer your call light quick enough, I know you really need your Kleenex, but the pt next door? Yeah, he was coding. Next time I will get your precious tissues instead of working to save someone's LIFE.

Thanks for what you do, without the nurses, the hospitals would fall apart

wow, get a new job, you make me sick. Granted there are people that are demanding and petty, but that's what you signed up for. People are sick, in pain and irritable, have a little effing compasion.

If you would also be more accomodating and nicer to family members who stay with patients you wouldn't have to be running around for petty things.

go be a bill collector you mean bitch.

Wow. Not only do nurses have to put up with over demanding patients but people who complain you never do enough.
Yes, people are in pain, sick, and irritable, that's why nurses devote their lives to helping them!
It's easy to bitch that they don't do enough, but when was the last time you got away from your computer and selflessly helped someone you don't know, who won't thank you, and will probably complain anyways!!
People have to realize it's not all about them. You can live without a tissue. You're in a hospital because you're severely sick or dying. Get over it and maybe think about the things that are really important.

I have a special spot in my heart for nurses, having been hospitalized more than once. Next time someone gives you shit, kick him in his cancerous nuts.

in three years, i will be a nurse.

and i'm thanking this nurse for taking their frustrations out here, instead of on the patients.

i'm sure they smiled and apologized and got that idiot's tissues for them without saying a word... because that's what nurses do.

Oh my god people!! She HAS compassion, she just doesn't want to be the patients' fucking maid!!! They are sick alright, but why are they often so mean with nurses and so respectful with doctors?? It doesn't make any sense!
I'm a med school student, so I've worked as a nurse before, and now I'm sometimes working as a medical student with the doctors and I'm telling you, they are so much more respectful with me now... I don't get it!! Nurses are doing a difficult job too, they also need to be respected for god's sake!!

I am a nurse and I SOO agree with this. You just can't cure stupidity. Example: Man standing a nurses station demanding and yelling about it to see his nurse so that his wife can be discharged. This man totally oblivious to the fact that there is 5+ nurses, code cart, doctors and respiratory therapists in the room he is standing in front of saving a womans life.

I work with nurses and you know what.... They could work harder. RNs LPNs, CNAs all whine about how much they do. I always see them sitting on their fat ass bullshitting behind the desk -OR- outside yucking it up with a big icky ciggy in their mouths. Coding? Yeah, right.... Get a little empathy for those laying in the bed in a fucken hospital scared, alone, and SICK. Go smoke a cigerette so you can get sick and feel the real pain of being a patient with heartless nurses like you. Good grammar though.

When I was at the Hilton, I called the front desk to have them bring me a tissue. They told me this is the Hilton not the hospital. What's up with that?

Just because you help save someone's life on Monday doesn't give you nurses the right to take the rest of the week off. Get the poor old lady a PUFFs tissue to dry her tears she has shed because of the poor care she has gotten at the hospital which has caused a tremous gaping stage four bedsore on her ass. That is the care you are so proud of? Eat Shit bitch!

wow, people are malicious. obviously people think that when you're standing at a nurses' staion talking to another nurse, it COULDN'T POSSIBLY be about work, so they must just be gossiping and complaining. I doubt people are "scared, sick, and alone." Get some balls and take care of yourself if you don't like the way they do it!

Much sympathy for the OP - apparently some of your nightmare patients made it onto here to make more petty remarks.

... And people in the US wonder why the rest of the world can't stand them. The customer and the patient need to learn that those caring for them are humans too!
