Adults - You Really Are Assholes
Every adult I've ever met has been an asshole to me, just because they think no teenager can think for themselves.We're not all as retarded as our stereotype, give us a chance (some of us, at least). I'm tired of you all being so pretentious.

1When you're an adult, you'll realize that intelligent, thoughtful, kind teenagers are few and far between. Most of the time they're self involved, self interested and completely oblivious.
But give it time. When you're on the other side you'll understand.

Come on man. I know grown men do terrible things. They are just as self involved. Teenagers for the most part are just looking for belonging.
Adults want: More money, more cars, bigger toys, a wife and kids to parade around with their last names, status, community achievements, power, the list goes on and on and on. They are just better at hiding their self involvement.
I know adults who behave worse than children. They fight, bitch and complain constantly, drive drunk or with road rage, steal, spew racist hatred from their mouths and eat like pigs.
Don't tell me teenagers are self involved. Adults in America have been chasing the dream longer, therefore they are much more self involved. Don't believe me? Hang out with a bum for a day. See how many people he asks for change, and see the kind of responses he gets from "teenagers" and "adults".
Get outta here with that nonsense.

7I so agree with this post. Yes, there are moronic and selfish teenagers out there. Thankfully I was blessed with parents who gave a shit in actually raising me. I can be selfish and airheaded at times, but you won't find me giving a blow job in the bookstore bathroom in exchange for weed (yes, happened for real).
I have a job, and I see teenagers come in my workplace being their obnoxious selves. I hate them for it. They're the reason I can't go to any public place without being labeled as one of them.
And while I don't want to take away their own responsibility for their actions, this says to me something about the adults who raised them.

9If every adult you've ever met has been an asshole to you, either you haven't met many adults or there's a reason. I have no problem with teenagers and neither does my wife or our friends and we treat them the way they deserve to be treated. If we treat one like he/she is an asshole, they must be real assholes.
