I lost contact with this guy I loved, and it hurt. Really bad. But I kept it to myself. I decide to open up one day, and you tell me that you think he probably "wasn't able" to contact me, not that he didn't want to. The translation for "wasn't able"? That he actually died.

You shouldn't have said that.

I would rather that he is alive, happy, and has forgotten about me completely than the alternative. No matter how crappy that idea might be.
