Scientology was made on a bet! Then idiots like Tom Cruise and John Travolta had to go and make it all serious. Even Beck, BECK! Of all people! Why did someone so cool have to join?

I guess it just goes to show how gullable and moronic the human race can be.
And yes, people can believe what they want, but when scientologists think they are too cool to associate with non scientologists, and they are hurting people, and acting as retarded as Tom Cruise, then I think there is an issue. I don't want to hear it!

Just like with all religions (not that Scientology is a religion) the followers always end up bastardizing the original idea and turning it into something that would be nearly unrecognizable to the person that started it.

If Jesus, Muhammad and L. Ron Hubbard were able to come back from the dead and see what is being taught in their names, they'd be appalled.

As far as being elitist goes, Scientology would not be the first religion by far to engage in THAT. Just about every major religion teaches that THEIR members are better than everyone else. That's why everyone is kicking the shit out of each other in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, you name it...

I find it funny that Christians attack evolution by say that there is no evidence... Where is the evidence for creationism? There is non. So many things in the bible have been disproved (earth is flat? Everything revolves around earth?), but it is still viewed by its followers as the book of god. As undeniable truth. Scientology and its growing following is just another thing that reaffirms my belief that religions are false. Tools to control the masses. If some guy can create a "religion" like Scientology and get a huge number of people to follow it, who's to say that the same thing didn't happen when Christianity was created?
