Before people make ignorant, spiteful remarks they need to take a good, hard look at themselves in the mirror and realize their own flaws. We ALL have them.
Anyone who wears that shirt is desperate for the attention of a bevy of intoxicated frat boys.
Why should I be "denied" sex because I'm larger?

"I take care of myself-- I eat healthy meals and exercise, yet I am overweight. "
Apparently not.

How can you eat healthy and exercise and be overweight. Either your idea of exercise is pushing yourself away from the table or you eat way more healthy food than you're supposed to.
And yes, we all have flaws and there are always going to be people that are willing to point them out to us so just because someone isn't fat doesn't mean they don't have to deal with mean comments.

To be fair: obesity is NOT simply a food-and-excersize problem. Sometimes, an overactive thyroid gland or certain medications can be to blame for an overweight person's problems. I'm not saying that this is always the case, but I find it apalling that this isn't taken into consideration.
Yes, we all have flaws, and yes, sometimes there are some that get pointed out to us more than others, but that doesn't mean that the rude comments are right.

Y'all are dumbasses. Firstly, weight is not necessarily only a diet/exercise issue. Secondly, being skinny is not necessarily a sign of good health, and if you eat healthy and exercise (excluding other problems like thyroids) then you body will be at the weight it NEEDS to be healthy, not whatever weight is fashionable this year!

Thyroid conditions are extremely rare and used by most obese people as an excuse.

how can you people be so insensitive?
regardless of how much you think obese people "aren't trying hard enough" or some crap like that.. how can you look at that picture and not feel ashamed of treating other people like that?
no matter how much someone weighs, they deserve the same common courtesy as everyone else.
just as i would never point a finger at a skinny person and call them anorexic, i would never say this to an obese person.
get a heart.

The picture really does bother me, but from my personal experience I have little sympathy for those who are overweight, and I know it's only because of my past experiences.
I'm the only one in my family who is not overweight, and it's because I watch what I eat and exercise that I weight 120 and stand 5'5" and I see all these overweight people buying calorie-laden food and snarfing all of it, always claiming they will go on a diet the next day or some shit like that.
It's fucking bullshit that people make all these excuses about being overweight.

number 7 nailed it.
As for everyone having flaws, most are their own fault and brought upon themselves. Why should we have sympathy for those people?

To the OP:
Would you really want to have sex with someone who would wear such a small-minded shirt? Let the assholes express their opinion for all to see - it makes it easier for you to avoid them.
If you're looking for a relationship, then I'm sure you'll find someone who loves you for who you are and is ok with your weight.
If you're just looking for sex, don't worry. There are plenty of guys who like fat women - take it from me. :)

10: it's not about having SYMPATHY for these people, it's about treating them like HUMAN BEINGS.
these things are a combination of environmental and genetic factors that are extremely hard to control.
don't you dare judge someone without knowing their full situation. you can't make generalizations like that and expect them to apply to everyone.

You people are killing me here. The t-shirt is a joke and rude jokes are never in good taste. The fact is that I don't have anything against fat people but I would never have sex with a fat chick. I'm not going to go out of my way to make fun of them but the kind of person that would wear any rude t-shirt in public doesn't really give a shit what you think anyway.

I was convinced for a long time that no one would ever want to have sex with me because I was flabby and didn't have a cute enough face or sparkling enough personality to overcome it. Long story short, I've found that isn't the case at all. I've met plenty of guys that didn't see it as an issue, and not because they were desperate. Now that I'm in a solid relationship, I have been losing weight for good reasons - the desire to be healthy.
