Spreadsheets that change numbers to dates

This makes me so angry i want to chuck my @#R%# computer across the room.
And it isn't just excel, now i'm using open office and the version number of a program i'm adding 4. 1. 7 is being autoconverted into 04/01/07 - IT IS NOT A #$^% DATE YOU STUPID $%^@#% PROGRAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

their plotting agianst us you know. waiting to gain our trust, so that everything we ever do starts to rely on computers... and trhen they will destroy us all. in the meantime, they fuck up for no apparent reason when they get bored, just to see us suffer.
we're gonna have to face the facts at some point guys.

i completely agree.. i was entering sizes into a spreadsheet (4/6 type things) and it changed it everytime to a date (April 6, etc). NONO WRONGGGG ugh
