I'm sick of hipper-than-thou music fans
Guess what? I like music that was released on major labels, even though that makes me some sort of monster to the ever-so-cool crowd who aren't happy unless their band du jour has only three fans and makes music so obscure that no one likes them.

2Right, that whole view on music makes no sense. If it's good enough, people will start to like it because they like the sound coming in their ears and it relates to them in some way.
Selling out is overused. Any of us would probably sell out too. It just means people like your work, and are willing to pay good money for it.
Hipsters are just like that. Anything to stand out.
