Global Warming...LOL - A Dirty Dingo Rant
Ok, firstly thanks for the support folks on my 'Responsibility' vent. Glad you liked it. For my next installment I have to vent my feelings about Global Warming. So here goes!Global warming, what a complete and utter load of shit! I have sat back and watched this develop over the last few years hoping that common sense would kick in but this GREEN MORON plague we are fighting is an epidemic. I think I will call it Global Moroning from now on. The whole concept of Global warming is as silly as a bum full of M&M's when you really take a look at it!
My first arguement is, that lets for a minute assume that these Green Morons are right and the world is getting warmer. What makes people think that they are so fucken important and that the universe revolves around them and that it is even our fault. We had an Ice Age once, and knowing that EVERYTHING in the universe is cycles, the seasons, life, the stock market etc. Then isn't it pretty fair to assume we will have a heat age?? and that regardless of what we do the earth will very fucken gradually (2000 years) get warmer??
Now here is why people think its real: Have you noticed lately lets say over the last 10 years how much more the weather is in our face in the media. Al Roker's got fucken charts coming out of his rather generous ass, there is a fucken weather channel, we've gone from good looking weather girls for 10 minutes to fat pricks for 30 minutes about what fucken clouds are where and then we end the segment with some little prick from a 3rd world country being washed away in a 'Freak'storm. Of course it has nothing to do with the fact that these countries have no proper sewage or drainage system or that their fucken house was made of cardboard on the edge of mountain made of dirt! NOOOOOOOO its global warming.
Hello people we are listening to some prick half way around the country who's literally got his head in the clouds wondering what the day is going to be like. Here's a fucken weather channel for you....... LOOK OUT YOUR WINDOW!
Do people not realise that the weather is the same just gradual changes the same that we've seen over the last 100,000 years and that the only thing that has changed is technology and the media so you see more of it and of course they only show you the bad stuff. Lets have a weather segment where they show you the best and nicest weather for the day. They won't do that because they have to show Pedro, getting what could be the only shower he's ever had, because misery sells!
Last but not least I leave you with one final thought. What the hell did the dinosours do wrong?? Obviously they didn't have a fucken weather channel!!

the dinosaurs triggered an ice age, right? they had cars and factories and other shit polluting the earth making it warm up and then the ice comes. right, you idiots? It's not a natural thing at all. <rolleyes>
These environmental people need to make some kind of shit up to make themselves think their lives have meaning.

Nothing wrong with caring about the environment, but that wasn't the point of his post. He's bitching about the government claiming that global warming is caused by us and we can do something about it. Personally, I think Gore's claims are idiotic and the man is a bufoon.

I doubt that he thinks that global warming is a humorous issue, he's laughing at the idiots that are telling us it's a man-made phenomenon.
Just think, if it wasn't for global warming, we'd still be living in the fucking ice age.

I'm pretty confident that by that you mean, the weather has been changing gradually over the last 100,000 years, and I couldn't agree more.
The trouble is, it's changing faster than it should. This isn't a "reverse Ice Age", or a "warming period", those things take a heck of a lot longer than a decade to show noticeable average change. Maybe you're a meteorologist, and you know what you're talking about, but I don't think that you are, and I don't think that you do.
I concede that some people are getting apocalyptic about this whole thing, and that some people may be trying to cash in on people's dooms day scenarios. While that behavior is annoying, it's no reason to ignore the rational evidence that the climate is being influence by human activity.

Sure, it's fair to assume that there will be warming cycles that we have little or nothing to do with. Now imagine what a "heat age" would be like, if aggravated by man-made global warming.
So I put it to you: do you really think that we - through carbon build-up, sulfur dumping, CFC release, etc. - are not in any way influencing the global climate?

Good question. We are influencing our environment in many ways, pollution of the air and water being one of the most alarming, but do I think that we've caused the ice caps to melt? No.

Wow you are a douche and you have no idea what your taking about, if the world works in cycles, why haven't the earth gone through a heating period before? Anyone that lives in a country that's gets snow has noticed that the winters are a lot shorter now then they were 10 years ago. I agree with QKJ we are influencing the environment with the pollution etc that we send into atmosphere and anyone that thinks otherwise should pick up a book.

person above me, you are a fucking douche for being so closed-minded to think that the only possibility is for the earth to already be in its second..third..fourth stage......just because you are too fucking stupid to understand that the world is very very old and it doesnt go through cycles every 365 days..which is apparently what you think, doesnt mean it actually does. IF the world/planet is going in stages/cycles, who is to say it couldnt be in the first half of its very first cycle still right now...hmm did you ever think of that possibility?

Apparently you didn't pay attention in school. The earth did go through a warming cycle. How else do you think the earth cam out of the ice age?
And since we have only been recording temperatures for a relatively short period of time and man has only been on the planet for a blink of an eye since the earth was formed, how could you possibly know that the earth hasn't actually gone through a very hot period before?
