that stupid mac guy just stands there with that shit eating grin on his face while PC man is all bumbly and awkward. Mac guy is a total dick.
Its the same additude Mac people and now iPhone people have to people who DO NOT CARE about what consumer electronics they use. If I cared about the differences between two brands i would look it up for my self.
Seriously people, IT IS A PRODUCT that is sold to create profit for a company! It is not a new diet that will improve your health. It is not a political standpoint. It is not a religion. It is not important at all.

4I said they were brilliant from a marketing perspective and the fact that they annoy you means didly to a company when a commercial is working for them. The same is true of car commercials, especially on the radio. I think they're annoying as hell and they've always got some announcer screaming at you but they work or else they'd stop doing them that way.

6I think it is shitty of mac to even make them. They are attacking PCs... thats no one. It isn't like they are saying dells are bad. Mac is a brand, just like dell, or if you wanted to go with the mac os, it should be.

8I only like the ad because the "PC" guy is John Hodgman and he's awesome. Look him up on the Web. He's a talented actor, humorist and writer. But yeah, I have no use for a Mac so their ad money is wasted on me.

11i agree! those comercials are so condescending! mac has that 'i am onlly acting like this cause i know it is pissing you off more and more' attitude. the only apple product i use are ipods and everyone i have ever had has SUCKED. everyone has had problems. the fact, coupled with mr. macs bad attitude in the comercials will prevent me from EVER buying a mac. so maybe they aren't so clever from a marketing standpoint... I am college student (pressumably part of thier target audience) and i hate that fucking bastard mac (if he is so laid back, why is he such a little shit and so pretencious?) additionally, they alienate everyone who is not a crusty college student (or has given up on trying to act like one). take a shower, cut your hair, get some grown up clothes, have an attitude adjustment, and fuck you, mac! fuck you!

Technically, Macs are PCs. Because PC stands for Personal Computer. And if I had a Mac (heaven forbid), I would not share it. I doubt anyone would.
So the ad is currently saying:
Hi, I'm Mac, a form of PC
Hi, I'm PC, ht egeneric acronym for any computer owned by schools, organisations, etc.
Thus proving that Macs are fuckwits. Not 'hip' young'uns.

15i've used macs as long as i can remember, doesn't make me a cooler person. i am not an "apple-head" or whatever, but this company always seem to get to the innovations before anyone else. hello, the iPod? never seem to get struck down by viruses, beautiful design, perfect for art-based i. C. T. (have a look in most music studios to start with). macs were the first PCs to feature the mouse and GUI.
so, there are bad points too, but the whole damn point of living in a consumerist culture is that we have choice! i have my preferences, don't go blasting insults around.
however, the ad was rubbish.
