Girl, I really do love ya, but why do you keep being friends with people who hurt you? I mean, if someone kicked me out of my room and told me to go somewhere else, I wouldn't still be friends with them two years later. Then when that same person talks shit about your best friend and how she's going to live in a box (that would be me) I would actually tell them off, rather than just meekly answer, "Well she's going to grad school". Also, another one of your "friends" exaggerated what you told her in confidence and made you sound like a lying bitch. I mean, she told J. that you said he had HIV!! That's a pretty big lie! And you forgive her cuz "she's really sorry". I understand you believe in that whole no burning bridges, turn the other cheek thing, but could you turn the other cheek by just not hanging out with these people? They spread so many rumors about you (ever wonder who told everyone you were a lesbian?) and they put down any friend of yours who isn't emotionally abusive to you. So I have a drink or two, that doesn't mean I'm going to be living in a box as an alcoholic. I defended you when these two manipulative cunts made everything think you beat up your boyfriend and cheated on him. When I told you what they were saying, you just said, "Well I'm sure you're exaggerating." I wasn't exaggerating. I wish you could get away from these emotionally abusive people. I know its cuz you didn't have many friends in high school and still 4 years later you worry that if you ditch some friends you won't have any left, but people that treat you like shit and talk about you behind your back aren't friends. Please stop hanging out with them - every time you do anything with them I hear another rumor about you. You're a trained scientist - can't you see the correlation?
