I'm talking to you big daddy government! Censorship and banning things is not only a violation of the constitutional right to free speech/expression, it's also creating a nanny state where we aren't able to make our own decisions about what to watch/read/listen to/play.Stop treating us like children, and most of all stop listening to all these whiners who complain about every little thing that offends THEM and then forcing the rest of us to conform to those people's standards!
Tell them to read the constitution and shut the fuck up!

1They're treating us like children to protect the children. I was raised to believe that when you're a kid you aren't allowed to do certain things so you look forward to becoming an adult so you can.

7Censorship laws ban all sorts of conduct that most people would find atrocious in a modern society. It is because of First amendment restrictions that things such as child pornography are illegal. Im not sure what the hell fucking sheep has to do with anything, but Bush is a tool who will soon be replaced. Whats offensive to one person is entertaining to another. As long as one has the option to not be exposed to anything they don't like, and they do ( change the channel), there is no reason whatsoever for censorship.

as for the restrictions on child porn it is physical exploitation and manipulation of children and therefore should be banned. Whatever this has to do with free speech I don't know but you brought it up in a failed attempt to cut me down. Didn't work.

Cursing has absolutely nothing to do with censorschip as the right to express yourself in that manner has repeatedly been defended. For instance, it is constitutionaly permissible on first amendment grounds for me to call you a fucking fuckitty fuck, or a cocksucking cunt. I choose at this time to exercise that right.

What you are referring to are venue restrictions. You cant say all things at all times. You cant say certain things on tv in the same way that you cant shout "fire" in a crowded theatre. That is not in any way a restriction on the true meaning of freedom of speech. Being prevented from airing a commercial that claims viagra gives you a "really fucking huge boner that will allow you to plow your bitches cunt into the middle of next week" does not prevent the message from getting out there, they just have to state it a little differently in that venue. It is about venue, not about speech
As for child porn, It was a free speech case. That is not opinion, it is fact. Read the fucking court decisions regarding it.
