Intimidation
In a nutshell, I have two older sisters who are M. D. and Ph. D. I'm currently in undergrad and constantly feel behind where I believe I should be. They were both valedictorians two years apart and I was far from it. I really don't know if I have what they do to get that far in life, but... I'm going to keep trucking. It just seems like they both breezed through their shit, whereas I'm in undergrad and have to work crazy hard to stay on top. Others get things easier (Physics, chem, bio, etc)... And I don't know if I am kidding myself or not : (Rating:0.00

1dont make yourself feel bad.
i'm the youngest of six kids - two lawyers, an economist, a dentist, a doctor.
and i'm struggling to even pass my exams.
you have your own talents, your own specialities, and you don't need to keep up with everyone else.

2Some people are just naturally conditioned to do well in school. If that's not you, don't sweat it.
Not everybody needs to have doctoral degrees. There are plenty of well-paying jobs out there that don't require 10 years of school. If that's not your thing, don't let your family push you into it. (I know this from experience.)

3why are you striving so hard to live your sisters' lives? you are your own person, with your own life to do whatever you want to with. In the end you're the one that has to live the life you are living. It should be to make YOU happy, not anyone else.
Don't waste the one chance you have.
