Get off the phone
Is it too much to ask that you don't multi task conversations with people? Either hang up and talk to me, or come back when you're done bragging about being a douche bag to someone at work.... On second thought, just stop talking

1i hate that! my mom is always talking to other people while i'm on the phone with her! i keep telling her that they are right next to her and she can talk to them when she gets off the phone, i am 1000 miles away! TALK TO ME while you have the chance!

2I absolutely hate it when people take phone calls and carry on conversations while they're supposed to be talking to me instead of telling them they'll call back later. This is especially true of cell phone users. Cell phones have voice mail. When you're having lunch with me turn the damn phone off and check your messages when we're done.

3Proper etiquette is to excuse yourself if you get a crucially important call, otherwise if you are talking to me face to face and your phone rings I expect you to let it go to voice mail. Otherwise I will assume that your phone is more important to you than I am, and I will walk away. It has puzzled a few people when I do that, but they get the message and I seldom have it happen twice.
