Fucking teachers. What the hell is their problem, they hand you assignments and say here's a pointless assignment, this is to keep you occupied while i jerk off since i don't want to teach you anything. It wastes my time. Thanks for wasting 2 hours of my life dumb-fuck, for an assignment which i did only to get a grade.Since when have teachers given up teaching and become freaking baby-sitters????

It's really bad sometimes. Have you ever seen the movie Stand and Deliver? I wish professors were like that. I've had about 30 professors and only 2 of them made sure every student understood EVERYTHING, not just by giving out pointless assignments, which they never did anyway..

Sometimes a teacher NEEDS a break. They become overwhelmed like the rest of us and busy work is a way to get you out of their hair so they can calm down. Once in a while is O. K. for busywork, but if your teacher is doing this on a regular basis, something else is up!
With the exception of a much needed break every once in a while teachers NEED TO teach! I am studying to be a teacher myself, and I am beginning to realize hoe stressful it really can be! If your's is just "babysitting" as you said and not teaching, then it may be time for a replacement... lol

I guess it really depends on what subject is being taught, and how interested the teacher really is.
As a teacher, I believe that if you find the material boring, you shouldn't be teaching it.
Unfortunately, not everyone can teach what they really want to, and therefore students don't always get the education they deserve.
Of course, sometimes students could help the teacher out by at least feigning interest.

Teachers dont give pointless assignments, they give assignments because there is something for you to get out of them. While it may be easy and busywork, the point of it is to learn something from or by it. Besides, teachers dont assign any extra work than they have to-remember, they have to grade it all. As a teacher, I know I dont want to grade anything I dont have to, I only assign homework that is beneficial. Stop complaining and just do the work, it wont kill you.

the problem with you people and the education system is that you all think its NOT okay to become a janitor or get a job at walmart, or be a checkout operator. since when did you think you were "too good" to do any of these things? they're paying jobs, people can get by with these. good for you if you want to push yourself and aim for well-paid careers but dont belittle any job. you can still be smart and be a janitor, there's nothing wrong with that.
schools today force upon kids that they HAVE to go to college in order to survive. thats not true. whatever happened to offering shop courses in schools to do construction or becoming a mechanic? so many people look down on these jobs but people get good money for these and you dont need college. the whole education system is just fucked, and it fucks with kids heads when teachers act like college is the only way. they'll make you think you're too good for these things when you're not. teachers in todays society are the worst i've ever witnessed.

#10 - I am too good for those jobs so fuck you. They're crappy, shit paid jobs, that people with no qualifications do. So yes, I do think I'm too good. And I think I could get a better job than that now, and I have 2 years of qualifications to receive (and this is BEFORE I even go to Uni). So shove your little rant up your ass and get a grip.
