To every guy that ever got weirded out by the fact that I don't want to date him
I don't want to date guys...I do enjoy hooking up, sex, and friends with benefits. I don't want to date because I'm old enough some guys feel they need to put a ring on my finger but I don't want one. Since it'll be at least 9 years before I want to marry someone why should I date some guy and get proposed to constantly (literally 4 times) when some girl that wants to get married could be dating him? You didn't say to every guy that got weirded out because you don't want a relationship or to get married, you said because you "don't want to date him." Then you went on to say in your first sentence, "I don't want to date guys..."

I think, as of late, there has been a shift in the way men and women are approaching relationships (as tenuous or as committed as you want them to be.) It's the sort of "Sex-in-the-City" epidemic, where men want to commit and women want to screw, like the SITC Samantha character. Why can't we as separate sexes ever be on the same page?

I find this funny because there are a lot of girls out there that feel the exact opposite. They want to know why guys won't commit and propose. I am satisfied with where I am in my relationship right now and am glad I am in neither position. I hope that everything works out for you though :)
