Needy

He's a good man, and he's sweet to me, but he's SO needy. Whenever I try to talk to him about my needs, he weeps copiously and the discussion becomes centered around HIM. I'm tired of encouraging him, then having him fall back and say that he can't do things. I'm REALLY STRESSED right now because of issues in my own life, which I have shared with him, but he pays me no heed.

    Needy turns into emotionally absent when you marry it! So if you see this relationship turning into something other than dating, DUMP HIM! Otherwise, if the rest of the relationship is good (sex, going out, talking about deeper problems than you two) then stay with him as long as you want.
