I hate her
She's 22, her boyfriend is 35, she moved across the US to be with him, and he treats her like shit. She's his do-girl, and although she complains constantly, she wouldn't dare leave him. 1While I understand where you are coming from. She may be afraid to leave him, whether it's abuse or financial. I wouldn't hate her, I would try to help her. Talk to her, make her realize how unhappy she is.

2I've been trying that for the past 2 years. It hasn't been working, which is why I hate her now. I know it's not abuse, and although it could very well be financial, she has been independent since the age of 15. She is very stable without him. She got her degree and has a good paying job. I think she's afraid that she will never find anyone to "love" her again. Even though he clearly does NOT love her.

3There are billions of girls on this planet. When you are 70, this girl will have meant nothing.
