OOOOKAY people need advice and i need it now
okay. i'm in a sticky situation. i just found out that my girlfriend, while down town 4 months ago, kissed some guy while she was wasted off her ass. apparentally it was a peck, I talked to the guy. But thats not what made me mad. It is the fact that she lied to me about it for four months. I only found out because the guy told me. She is a great girl and I love her a lot, been together a looong time. what should i do? i want to be with her because we work well together but i dont want to get walked on and i'm really hurt that she would lie to me about it.help.
seriously.
i'm kinda in a bad place right now.

This has happened to me before, and I've mastered the art of this stupid shit game.
First of all, you're already fucking up by worrying. Girls HATE guys that worry like this shit.
Even if she made out with the guy, it shouldn't matter. If she lied to you about it for THAT long it means she wants to stay with you for SOME reason.. But you need to bring that out.
Never show her that you care too much, do you want to look insecure? No. You don't. You want to act like you would be just fine if she were to leave tomorrow, so she'd try harder to stay with you.
Stop freaking out so much and go for a bike ride or something.
I can't tell you enough that if you want this to lax out and go away, you are not to ever ever ever bring it up again, or she'll be gone forever, and you won't be able to reverse that.
Would you want to make out with a girl that you just saw take a huge diarrhea all over the grass? No, and you acting like this is that unattractive to her.

What you didn't say is if you've both agreed that you're monogamous. Since you said girlfriend I'm going to assume you're not engaged so realistically what can you expect. And how old are you? If you're too young to get married then you're too young to be this serious about a girl.

Shouldn't care about the kiss, you should just care about the fact that she lied. If it was a silly drunk peck it didn't amount to anything, and she should have been honest with you when it happened. If she's comfortable lying about a silly drunken peck, what else is she comfortable lying about?

Did she full out lie to you? Did you confront her and she denied it? Maybe she kept it from you because it didn't mean anything, therefore you don't need to know. Maybe she didn't want to make it a big deal.
Seriously, I have a cousin that is insanely insecure. With her last boyfriend, she got someone to follow him and spy on everything he did. He had to pick up his brother from the ferry terminal and they picked up a female hitch hiker... My cousin found out and flipped the fuck out. She was accusing him of cheating with this girl and everything. This is one reason I don't speak to her anymore. I am sick of "are you mad at me?" "really? are you sure? You seem mad"
Also, I have been in a 9 year relationship, if he kissed a girl while he was drunk, I really don't think I would care that much. It would be his first offense, so... I am comfortable enough in my relationship and I trust him, so why should it bother me? Don't let it get to you. Let her know that she hurt you and then leave it at that.

I think it depends on whether or not she was out right lying or just ommitting the truth. From the sound of it, it was ommittance of truth. Which isn't AS bad. When you ask her about it I would hope she would tell the truth. If she doesn't at that point, you're between a rock and a hard place. If she does, just make it clear that you'd like to know things like that from now on.

Hey, first off do not completely listen to the guy who is telling you to completely blow it off and to not act angry about the situation because you should show a little bit of frustration for the lying part because like you said it's not the kiss your pissed about, but the lying aspect. You should probably bring it up and explain your angry because she lied to you and no person in a relationship should have to wonder whether or not the other is lying because I've been there before and looking back it was probably the most fucked up relationship I've been apart of. Therefore, you should put emphasis on the idea of lying and not the kiss if you want to bring it up to her and be somewhat understanding because it's was only a peck, but still be firm about lying.
