A month ago my girlfriend told me she was having an affair. WE are trying to get over this but every time I try to have a conversation with her she clams up. now she was always a very emotionally distant person so this is not exactly a surprise but fuck is it frustrating. On top of this because I am not receiving any support I attempt often to clear the air now she is telling me that I am needy. I just want this shit out of my mind, ya know, get on with life and forget the past but she just runs from it.Rating:0.00

2yea man, based on what you posted, she is wanting you to break up with her so she doesn't look like the "bad guy". I have been in this situation and to be honest, I dumped her and moved onto her best-friends. :-)

3Emotionally distant people are frustrating to be friends with and often had something happen in their childhood that made them that way. You're best bet is to take this opportunity to move on. Otherwise, you'll just spend a lot more time being frustrated.

5Point #1: All aspects have been discussed thoroughly, to the point where it's now driving me crazy... He's beating a mother fuckin' dead horse!
Point #2: He knew I was emotionally distant when we got together (I haven't changed) and I express my feeling in other ways.
Point #3: I know I fucked up, but it doesn't mean that i should have every second of every day supervised to make sure that i don't slip up again. I have no privacy, all emails are read, every phone call I receive a "Who's that?"...
Point #4:Before any of "this happened I was sexually neglected for close to a month and accused on a regular basis of sleeping around, when i hadn't done or thought of anything... could say i was driven to it... but hey all you guys want to see is the poor, poor man and his horrible girlfriend... go fuck yourselves!
