College Rings
If you are over thirty and you wear your college ring to work... You are a douche. The point of going to college is to get first hand experience on dealing with liberal swill, not to get a ring so you can impress your acquaintances. Enjoy your achievement, but don't rub it in the faces of the general populace. I believe that we should be judged on our current propensity to produce valuable contributions to our employers and society, not the fact that, twenty years ago, we graduated from The University of Pot and Beer, with a major in asskissing. Okay, if I seem a bit despondent, I understand. But, I spent 10 years in college and, though my GPA is only about 2. 5, I have about 250 credit hours. I will be the first to tell you that I have no plans to graduate from the liberal institution that I attend. Also, out of sheer principal, by implication alone, my wife is the only person that will ever know of my college experience. I have made a choice to push my way to the top and succeed handily by my merits alone. If colleges only graduated deserving people, I would wear a t-shirt exclaiming my dutiful achievement. Since they propel boobs-a-plenty into the drone-force instead, I choose to not associate myself freely with the like. Such an unfortunate position to be in. Anyway, if I really get bothered by someone I tell them some crazy bullshit because I just cant let people in to the real me and my self hate disembodies me from my achievements. Just leave me alone to my pit of eternal despair. Strange evolution from vent to self deprication. I find a way to fuk myself every time... They tell me consistency is a goal worth aiming towards.Rating:0.00

Think of all the extra money you'd have at your disposal if not for wasting it by not graduating and accumulating more than 250 credit hours. Quit being a dipshit and close out. Don't be a fucking whiner because someone is proud of the fact that they have done what you have not, Van Wilder. Grow the fuck up and quit worrying about how "liberal" your school may be.
BTW, going on merit alone often isn't enough. If you'd simply graduate, you'd have much more opportunity and money at your door unless you're 40 and have been doing your job forever; further, is you ARE 40 and haven't graduated yet just for spite, you're a moron.

Man, on one hand I think you're an idiot because you're not willing to just take what's in front of your face and use it. On the other hand, I TOTALLY understand the principle you are upholding and choose to stand behind. The only problem is, you're a closeted activist and that gets society no where since we're not exposed to your point of view or your actions. So, in the end, all you've done is shoot yourself in the foot to prove something to no one (your wife, maybe?). But, hey, no one could ever call you a hypocrite. Oh, and yes... wearing your college ring to work makes you a douche. I totally agree on that level.

I graduated from a former Playboy Top Party School, with a major in enjoying myself and a minor in academics.
I worked my ass off through school, and was proud of my accomplishment. However, I was broke by the end. So, I couldn't buy a school ring.
A couple years went by, and a cherished family member who is also proud of me, got me one for Christmas. I wear it proudly every day.
You want to call me a douche for that, be my guest. I'll consider the source.
But, you never know... I might be the cop who pulls you over next and writes your ass for everything under the sun. I might be the judge who presides over your drug possession trial. I might be the surgeon who someday saves your miserable life. I might be the guy who breaks into your house and shoots you dead for no apparent reason.
