Rigged homecoming court
I recently found out that my high school's faculty and/or administration rigged the homecoming court. Seriously, I thought that they were above that. They say to vote based on Christian character, not popularity. Really, you shouldn't vote for Christian character anyway, which makes the whole thing a joke.
My sister would have gotten representative one year if a teacher hadn't had everyone revote and told them "THIS ISN'T A POPULARITY CONTEST!!!! 1! 11" And still he picked his favorite to represent on the court.
For the juniors the votes were tossed out and the teacher who was the class sponsor got his daughter on the court.
Please don't think all Christians are stupid or crazy because of this. We're sick of being judged guilty by association whenever some perverted pastor or church embezzler or corrupt self-righteous moron makes the headlines. And we're not all stuck-up idiots like Joel Osteen either.
I hate my high school so much. The administration thought the kids were the only ones with problems and needed to be led on the right path. Blind pharisees.

I'm assuming this is a parochial school? If so I'd say that's about par for the course. If you things don't go your way, change the game.

Then do something about it.

Yeah, that seems about right for modern Christians. Say one thing, do another.

I think one can do without the "esteemed honor" of becoming the teacher/school's student pet.
