1. We're 5% of the world's people and we consume 40% of the world's resources.
2. We're the only country that still is actively pursuing a colonial empire.
3. We rule the world in terms of how many of our citizens are imprisoned.
4. We've made torture and unlawful detention seem cool.
5. We are the world's leader in warming the globe and fucking up the ozone layer.
6. More people voted for 'American Idol' than for president.
7. We lead the world in our efforts to spy on our own people.
8. We treat our returning warriors like used tampons.
9. In one presidential term, we have taught the world to hate and fear us.
10. In two more generations, we will be risking our lives crossing the border into China to get jobs making hotel beds.

Australia is a nice counrty. Im an American who has acually visited there. As for #6, you obviously have not met too many Americans. Nobodys country is better than the next. Everyone has problems with their government. The US is just more in the light. Yes our president is an idiot but hopefully that will make more people vote this time around.
