Fuck you parents
i had fucking plans today and then THIS MORNING you tell me that i have to clean the house. Had you told me LAST NIGHT i would have adjusted my plans so that i could clean the house and hang out with my friends, but no. Now your house is fucking clean and I am stuck at home all alone while all of my friends are hanging out in town. And dont tell me my brownies weren't good dad, I baked them for myself so if you dont like them then don't eat them.Rating:2.50

Ok, the others are jerks, except for #1. He's right, but I remember my parents suddenly popping up with a list I had to do when I was going out with friends. I also remember what it was like to not have a car so I always had to depend on someone else to get me somewhere... It wasn't like I could just run away for the day. Most of the time it was my parents who got me everywhere, but they were busy listing everything I had to do that they couldn't have mentioned the afternoon or night before.
Parents can be just as bad at procrastinating as their kids... I'm not out of the house yet and my mom still wakes me up with this sudden to-do list. No, I don't have a life of my own, I'm at your disposal, thanks.
The others are all "get over it" because they're bitter that they had to grow up and do MORE than clean the house. A couple of them probably popped out a few kids they weren't ready for :P and now wish they were stuck with your job.
The reality is that you're growing up and soon will have more responsibility than house chores... But I'm sure you get told that all the time and are probably sick of hearing it because it doesn't help at all, and some people need to realize that.
And #2 and 4, thank you so much for reminding us why we should enjoy our childhood before growing up into people like you.

I'll clean up my own messes and only my own. Someone tells me to clean up their shit they can go fuck themselves. Period.
I made that perfectly clear to my parents when I was young. I don't live with them anymore, and yes I am a clean and organized person now.

Move out as soon as you can. Then you'll develop a whole new respect for your parents. Also, they probably sprung it on you last minute for a reason. They probably had a problem with where you were going or what you were doing or who you were hanging with and instead of going into those issues, just copped out to avoid and argument and made you clean instead.

Next time assume its your job to clean. Then have the house clean before you're asking to go out. They can't hardly say no to that.

^ Or do SOME productive chores. You're parents aren't going to sit around and think about the structure of your schedule. They just get pissed when they find out you're going out to have fun after all you did all day was nothing. DO something on your own and it won't be a problem. Fuckin lazy kid bastards...
