These young, would be future wealthy capitalists who are chasing their falling dollars, thinking of themselves as "professionals" when inflation adjusted wages say they're "workers," should be in the streets ripping new assholes in the corporate godheads to which (corporations are NOT human, regardless of the legal arguements to the contrary)they have sold their smarmy souls.

    None of these peeps think that long term. It's all about now now now now. Same reason why all these companies run by ONE person are all polluting the shit out of water systems and rivers, because they want to save a penny NOW so they can enjoy their life NOW.

    I'm 17 and I agree. I know that our dollar is failing. Infact, 1 dollar is worth about 2 cents what it was worth in 1890. We went from a Representative money system (I. E. the gold standard) to a Fiat System, which says that money has value because the government says it has value. What happens is, we're printing more money while our debt is increasing (Formula for inflation is Print More + Rising Debt = Inflation). I know all this stuff. I realize what is going to happen in the future and I DO think ahead. I'm going to go to college, Majoring in Accounting and minoring in Economics. Then I'll run for public office on an economic reform platform.

    So yes. Your generalization that the youth don't care, is wrong. Good day.

    Thank god for a few individuals like #4. You are, however, in the minority, being both thoughtful and in non agreement with the norm. The juggarnaught that is the Hungry Consumer will suck the air from any reformist sails. We don't want reform, we want sameness and constancy, even at the expense of everything and everyone else. The trouble is we've pissed away the power to make it happen even as we think it still can.
