So someone else got there first

I was planning to tell you everything, about how much you are to me, but then someone else got there first. it sucks that you're both my friends, it sucks that her ex is also my friend. it especially sucks now you told me. i feel like hating you all. i feel very sad. i still want to tell you exactly how i feel, but that would just make things worse if anything. this is a very calm vent, but i feel like i'm going to implode any minute now.

Be patient and see how things go. You may be happy in the long run. To paraphrase the song, you didn't get what you wanted, but you just might find out you got what you needed.

I really need to add more backstory to my vents.

i waited for a year for "the right time", and then this happened on the very day i planned to say something.

oh, and we're all gay.

god i hate waiting. but i'm grateful for the advice.
