Game Theory
I can't stand how people think that elections are predetermined and that their votes won't get anything done. People think that something will happen in spite of their actions, so they do nothing and it ends up happening due to their inaction. I'm tired of seeing US Presidential elections (or any elections at all) ruined by this type of thinking! That 'popular' person that you hate won't win if people don't vote him in, so don't vote for him! Do your homework, learn about who is running and vote for who you truly want in office, free from the notion that since 'everyone' will vote for one of the two 'most popular' candidates, then so must you.Rating:3.00

The big problem in this country is not enough eligible voters take the time to get to the polls. It's a very sad state when there is only 50-60% voter turnout. So the afore mentioned premise stands..."Oh well, so and so is going to win anyway, I don't have to vote"...HOW STUPID.

Well my whole quip with our presidential elections is how it works. We as an individual citizens cast our vote yet our electoral candidate is the one who makes the vote count for us. The only thing that scares me is that by watching the government over the last few years I have found its not free from corruption or pay offs. Whats to stop an electoral candidate who would suffer little to no lash back if he helps get people into office?

Ah but what nobody ever seems to realize...
I would rather have 50% voter turnout who know what the hell they are doing (i.e. if they care enough to vote they did some research at least) than 90% turnout and have the extra 40% be idiots who vote on stupid premises like the who is the most charismatic etc.
