4Scum of the earth work for fast food? Whoo, that's insightful. You are ignorant, my friend. I hope you don't have kids. People working in fast food are stressed out by hundreds of bitching, fat, angry customers daily. Add minimum wage on top of that. Also, add in the McManager breathing down your neck because someone didn't like the presentation or timing of their order. Sounds like the real scum is the customers, who have nothing better to do than to criticise someone who is at least working and contributing in some sort of way.
Fast food employees pay taxes too. At least they are not home on their ass collecting unemployment.
What do you expect for a place that sells $3.00 meals? Try working at a place like that for a week, then tell me who deserves the title "scum of the earth"

5Im standing my ground on that one. Fast food employees are the scum of the earth. (that is why your time is not worth anything more that the law requires it to be) If you could lay off the fucking dope long enough to maintain an upright stance, you could get a job in the kitchen of a sit down restaurant for 2-3 times minimum wage. You would still suck, but you would be making more. You could also attempt to get an education and leave that shit behind.
There is NEVER a reason for an intelligent person to work fast food. I did it for a week, saw that I could make twice as much money doing the same bullshit, or 4 times as much money doing other things. Then I completed my degree and earned a whole lot more than that. If you are working at a job that does not even require a GED, you arnt really worth a whole lot to society.
And you dont even want to try to claim that paying $200 a year in your fucking taxes gives you a whole lot of rights.

6Excuse me for not agreeing with your ignorant approach, but just because you are educated does not make you a better person than anyone else. you said that people that work fast food are the scum of the earth. That implies that you are better than them. it has nothing to do with education. Also, fast food hires young kids, many of whom are not eligible or capable of working at a different resturaunt, because of restrictions set by the schools as to the number of hours they can work, or because some of the duties at other resturaunts cannot be performed because of age restrictions.
Many people have two jobs, and some people who work fast food are doing it because it's an easy hire, and it provides a flexible schedule around their school or work schedule.
Also, I know of people who started working at a company like this at age 14, and ended up having the fast food company pay for their college education, while making more money than the average college student, because of promotions.
After college, these people went out and ended up making just as much money as you do, or say you do.
Like I said, at least they are working. If you generalize all of these people into one bunch, calling them scum, then you are the one that needs to get a clue.
$200 is better than nothing, that's enough to buy a few new books for an elementary school.
Taxes are taxes. They are determined by how much money you make, so just because you are paying more, at least they are not collecting unemployment.
Some people cannot afford an education, and do not want to pay back a shitload of interest on student loans, so working at a low paying job is one way to put yourself through school.
If you are a customer at any of these places, then you are contributing to the paychecks of the scum of the earth, aren't you?
And no, not all people working there are using "dope" ,whatever that word may mean to you. I know people who work high paying, high status jobs, that drink theirselves into oblivion nightly, and buy more expensive cocaine than the average fiend. No one calls them scum, though.

Don't define someone personally by their job. It has nothing to do with their character.

9I work fast food to help pay for college. I also work in a high end restaurant. The scum of the earth is the fucking rich kid who doesn't have to work who gets pissed when I get better grades. 10I think the various fast food employees here have proved the point. They work shitty jobs. People who patronize their establishments look down on them, but it is not their fault. The fact that they dont give a shit about their customer's experience, and the fact that they regard their customers as scum, im sure that has nothing to do with how their customers react to them. No, fast food employees are the most valuable members of our society. I think we will be hampered as a country in our pursuit of greatness until we all fall into the delusions of our burger flippers. 11i worked fast food for 4 years. in fact, it was McDonald's. I'm very smart...I work more hours than anybody in my store, and i was a manager. i totally agree with the guy bitching about the fat welfare customers. we bust our asses trying to get ur shit out to you asap...and all you do it bitch because ur shit isn't out in 2 seconds. i was a good manager, and i never breathed down anybody's throats. i always took up for my crew and was friendly to my customers. fuck the bastard that says we are the scum of the earth. at least we do work and pay our shit.
