Slow traffic in the left lane
so - when did it become tough for people to remember that if anyone is ever behind you when you are in the left lane of any 2+ lane highway they should get the hell out of the way? I don't care if they ARE going the speed limit - driving from wisconsin to ohio and back over the weekend really reminded me how stupid people can be...Rating:0.00

1I live in Wisconsin, and driving on the highways fucking sucks.
1. Pave the fucking roads. You can do it like every 50 years, but holy fuck do they suck.
2. The proper speed limit for a freeway is NEVER 50 or 55. What the fuck Wisconsin, make it 70 or higher. You are only increasing the danger when you have old shitheads in the left lane doing 45 because they want to follow the law, and then you have normal people trying to do 75 or 80 because the want to follow common sense

2I drive from central Florida to North Carolina a couple times a year and I always notice that in Forida, most of the time, when a driver sees you coming up fast from behind he moves to the right lane and it's that way for the most part in Georgia too, but as soon as you hit South Carolina, no one moves out of your way unless they have Florida or Georgia plates.

4I live in Pennsylvania right now and swear it has to be right behind Florida when it comes to the number of 85+ age group behind the wheel. Every day I see someone camping out in the fast lane doing 55 mph.
Just the other day, I was a passenger in an MTVR military truck. This 150 year old man pulled right out in front of us without a glance! The truck is 8 feet wide, 32 feet long, and weighs 39,000 pounds! How do you miss something that big? He told the cop who responded to the accident, "I just didn't see it." This is the same demographic that gets in the fast lane with his engine at idle speed.

5People don't move for you because you are being extremely annoying and driving way too fast.
When someone gets behind me, and they are going fast enough to catch up, and they stay a few car lengths behind, I am happy to move for them.
On the other hand, you get those rude a holes who decide that its a good idea to get 2 feet away from your car and ride your ass. These people are not courteous, and they are breaking the law by tailgating and speeding. Why should I do this person a favor and get over? I'll stay put with a smile on my face. You don't like it? Go around me!
If someone is following a car that closely, they are being extremely risky. In the event where the person in front of them has to suddenly brake for a hazard, they sometimes don't have a quick enough reaction time, and there goes your SUV, and possibly your life.
Think while you are on the road. Don't be so pushy, and maybe you wouldn't feel so victimized by people who won't move for your impatient ass.

9That's not my problem until it happens. Even then, it's still more of a problem for him, now isn't it? He's the one being irrrational and shooting someone for taking 3 seconds of his time. if that's worth it for you, then all I can do is apologize and say, "I'm sorry my driving is a problem for you" with a smile on my face. Remember, being an impatient and ignorant prick is your problem, not mine.
The reason for road rage is that people totally lack self control and common sense, and have no regard for others, along with some mental instability or disease. The people who let it slide are the normal ones, mr. violence solves everything.

I'm from Detroit and with the amount of crime I have seen, I still wouldn't believe something like this is going to come along. 70+ miles an hour and you want me to believe that people are just constantly going around cocking guns and sniping people off the road over someone going too slow.

It's no ones fault but their own.

12i agree, with everyone else, who gives a fuck if you're going the speed limit?. If you're driving in the left lane, move the fuck over and let me past, it is absolutely not your job to decide how fast i get to go. you are the most dangerous sober driver of all, the idiot going 40 in a 70mph zone on an Anabama interstate.
