Gun control only stops the law-abiding
Why do people keep saying that we need to ban guns, that banning guns makes cities safer? Banning guns only takes them away from the law-abiding; criminals will always find a way to get them. And don't tell me that we just need better enforcement; drugs are plenty illegal, we spend billions on enforcement, and you can still get them easily. People will always find a way to buy illegal stuff, and if you ban carrying handguns (like in New York, Chicago, Detroit, and even DC, where the local courts are trying to get around the supreme court ruling), then you just ensure that the only people WITH guns are the criminals and the cops (who don't show up until AFTER you've been stabbed to death for what's in your wallet). Most guns used in crimes were purchased illegally, anyway. Let people defend themselves, for God's sake. Most muggers won't hold still while you dial 9-1-1. Criminals sleep a lot easier at night knowing their victims are unarmed.Rating:4.50

The bottom line for gun control supporters is not that only certain people should own guns, but that no one should own guns -- law enforcement and military excluded of course. They believe that if no one had a gun, good guy or bad guy, no one would get killed by guns. The thing that they don't understand is that criminals will always be able to obtain guns so keeping guns out of law abiding citizen's hands just make us sheep for the slaughter.
By the way, these people are also against hunting animals and therefore against owning rifles as well as handguns, because let's face it, bleeding heart liberals are a bunch of pansy vegetarians or meat eaters in denial.

Even if it was possible, which of course it's not, to keep guns out of criminal's hands, do these people think that criminals will suddenly disappear? If someone wants to rob or kill you badly enough, they'll find a way, gun or not.

How was Columbine a lie, exactly? I'm sorry, did this massacre NOT occur? Did the massacre at Virginia Tech not occur? How about the Washington DC snipers? Where they a lie as well? How about the thousands of gun deaths every year? Are they a fabrication of liberal media as well?

I use a pool ball in a sock. It's quiet and I can sneak up on ppl with it. They almost always fall down and bleed out : ) I don't need agun to do that. But I do have a water gun. I use it to squirt the dead ppl on my floor with it to see if they are really dead! it's never failed me.
