Sick of TV network logos
When I sit down to watch a sports show on ESPN or a movie on TNT, I know what station I'm watching, I don't need their damn logo staring me in the face the whole time. Some of them are so obnoxious they actually end up covering part of what I'm supposed to be looking at some times. And now some of these networks are starting to use animated promos while I'm watching a show. I'm watching CSI and Kira Sedgewick walks out and does some silly thing and they promote The Closer while I'm watching another show. Or on ESPN they have a damn pit crew run out and change the tires on a car. WTF?

2they feel that the commercials for nothing new or useful aren't enough. all that is on are things that the whole world has known about for many years

4Want to get really distugusted? Take a stopwatch and time the commercials (sponsors) vs actual play time of a 30 minute sitcom. fucking dickwads eat up approx. 33% of the time........ and the cable companies whine and charge your ass a premium to watch that the bastards they aren't making any money.......I guess that makes us all pimps.

5What really pisses me off is at the end of a show, your watching the credits for the first time. Actually waiting to see who guest starred on the friggin' show, and they shrink the damn screen to 1/3 size !!!! Those Bastards...

8The little mini commercials for other shows that pop up in the corners also piss me off, not just the logos. They both distract and cover the screen.

9I understand your pain; once I found my HDDVR I was just smiling as I FF through ALL the commercials. Since I'm allmost never around to watch TV when I have time to I want it to be 100% only what I want to see. My shows are waiting for me at my convenience without commercials.

10The last commenter completely missed the point. I'm sure most of us can record shows and fast forward through the commercials, we're talking about the little logo that all the stations put in the bottom corner of the screen while you're watching the show and now some of them even run small commercials across the bottom of the screen. How do you fast forward past those? D'oh!

14when the people making the shows make so much off the ads, why should we pay for it too?
when i go to the cinema, i pay my £4.50 to get in, then spend 30 mins watching adverts and trailers, i paid for the film, so do the adverts...they're making profit out of my boredom...
