My family is annoying
I put up with my family's crap all the time. I do what they want to do, I eat what they want to eat, I watch what they want to watch. I do all this with out complaint. But when I actually give opinion to what I want do I get the same consideration... NO. They ignore what I want to do and do what they want anyway. Or with the tv I watch all there boring stuff but the moment i put it on what I like they bitch till I can no longer enjoy the program... Take the remote and then again do what they want. They have no respect for my feelings.Rating:3.00

I understand OP... It's not that easy to tell them no and be able to enjoy what you do without them interfering.
Point out to them that you engage in activities with them and then say it's your turn. Or just do something separate from them.
When you move out, you won't have to bother.

Give the kid a break... He does his vent and everyone jumps all over him for one thing or the next. i understand what its like.... Can't move out or its not quite bad enough that you are willing... But people just bother you. its what happens when you live with another human (or many other humans). so don't listen to the 'well when you move out you can have your way' crap, because its not your fault for being there... Its just life. and also, maybe its the family DYNAMIC not the fact he can't have his way. doesn't everyone want to be respected and given some importance in their own family at least?

Look man, it sucks to be in your position, but a lot of us were there at one point or another. So suck it up and eventually you can make your own rules / watch your own shows / whatever. Remember this rant when you are older and have kids and want to watch your shows on tv instead of what your kids want to watch.
