Bass players and drummers are fucking lazy
You always hear them bitching about not getting any attention, but what do these bastards do to get themselves any attention!? Do they promote the band whatsoever? Booking? P.R.? Fuck no. Ask anyone in a band what members contribute the most, and you'll never hear someone mention the drummer or bass player. You're lucky if you can even get them to show up for practice, even if you're in a well established band that has a demand for performance in your region! So, you set the shows up anyway, and then have to hear about how shitty the performance was, since they don't properly know the songs. They didn't help out with any of the financial matters such as gas money to get to the venue, which is usually a few hundred miles away, but sure want their cut of the evening's profits! They spend all of their spare cash on video games and pot, and have plenty of money for that, but can't even afford their own equipment! They borrow equipment from other people and say that it belongs to them, or play on broken cymbals and drum heads because they refuse to leave the World of Warcraft to go work and buy some equipment. They're happy to go into the studio and record, and brag to everyone about their accomplishments, but help pitch in on costs??? YEAH RIGHT.Paul McCartney broke up The Beatles...BASS PLAYER.

1It's not hard to play either the drums or the bass and also not difficult to find replacements. Unless the drummer is the lead singer like Phil Collins or the bass player is the lead singer like Sting, you can replace them and no one would ever notice. They also don't get paid as much as the other members unless they are the primary writer. So, it's not like they've got a lot of incentive.

2Yeah, they usually don't write songs, just find something suitable to play over what the songwriter has written. So not only are they lazy, they also lack creativity and talent.

5My little brother's a bass player AND a drummer. That said, he's the only responsible, talented bass player or drummer I know. The guy who used to drum for my jazz band was the most selfish, demanding, untalented people I've ever known. I know another loser (drummer) who just got his girlfriend pregnant and now they have to get married. Fuck bass players/drummers!

know who got them a gig in the cavern? the drummer
he spent about 700 quid on his drum kit.
another friend of mine, who's just started a new band plays bass, he has a few of them.
i could keep going, but i can't be arsed, there's nothing wrong with drummers and bass players in general, you're just not good enough to pick out decent ones

8im the drummer in my band, also the lead singer, and i write all of our lyrics. i have set us up with every gig we've ever played, and practice is at my house and i always wait on my guitar player. and i get most of the attention of my band. suck it? i think so. what a gay rant.

9Hmmm... Rush - talented bassist, ungodly talented drummer (the drummer writes pretty much all the lyrics).
Iron Maiden - the bassist not only founded the band, but wrote a shitload of classic songs.
Pink Floyd - Roger Waters - nuff said (though to be fair he was more than responsible for breaking the original band up and he's a pretty shitty singer to boot IMHO).
I could go on but bassists/drummers aren't always the shit disturbers they're made out to be.
