Fucking ventibate profanity filter
Kudos to ventibate for adopting a fucking profanity filter. Now my fucking kids can read the goddamn site. Funniest fucking thing ever to put the stupid bastard on a fucking site where half of all people cuss like fucking sailors. WTF??? Of course if you are adverse to reading words like shit, fuck, and damn while you read threads about people taking olestra shits, fucking transvestite clowns, killing fatasses, and sniffing their sisters panties, I guess it works.Rating:1.00

The site really isn't intended for kids so the profanity filter was added for adults that just don't care to read the word fuck 15 times in one post and to keep our advertisers happy.
We've been toying with the idea of changing fuck to f*ck automatically but decided to try the filter (similar to Digg's) first.
BTW, 'damn' is not in the list. We didn't use George Carlin's list or the FCC's and just added fuck, shit, cunt, and asshole.
But don't worry, 99% of our visitors will still see every fuck you write in all it's glory.

There would be two very good reasons for doing that. First, it's better for search engine rankings and second, as I've already stated, it's better from an advertisers standpoint.
As for the "pussies" comment. The filter is optional and available to anyone that wants to use it. However, it does not affect how this site appears to you or anyone else. We are not stopping anyone from using profanity or censoring anything you say, so what's your fucking point?

Re: "asshole" - I guess different areas of the country have different standards. Clear Channel's shock jocks are allowed to say pretty much anything in Floriduh as long as can't be construed as "racist" (anti-Muslim rhetoric being the exception of course).
