Gun Control
I'm so sick of hearing idiots wanting to ban guns. All these ridiculous laws do is disarm the good guys. Need an example? Virginia Tech, Columbine, both were "gun-free" zones. In both places the gunman was able to massacre people with ease. If even one person had a gun, the whole situation could have been stopped. Ban guns all you want. The bad guys WILL get guns. Period.Why don't these evil people ever shoot up a police station, or an army base, or a shooting range? Lots of guns at a shooting range. Shouldn't there be shootings there every day? Oh wait. The victims would shoot back! These fucking evil cowards will have none of that. If a criminal senses that any one of his victims has a gun he would be extremely unlikely to pull his own. That's why they target places with guaranteed helpless victims.
So a message to you gun control assholes: Fuck you in the neck! The blood of those people massacred in these shootings is on your hands!

If no one had guns but law enforcement, the problem would be solved, but unfortunately, the bad guys will always be able to get guns, so the good guys need them too.

if everyone had a gun, that shit wouldn't have happened! school shooters would be full of bullet holes before they could even pull the trigger. i think we should be issuing out more guns, instead of trying to stop punks from getting them -- they're always gonna get guns, no matter what! why not give people the means to fight back?!

It may be true that, had some other student had a gun on their person at the time of the incident, the number of deaths may have been reduced. This, however, does not suggest that it is advisable to give guns to all students, many of whom are emotionally unstable and haven't learned how to cope with stress or anger appropriately. The somewhat limited availability of guns keeps the large percentage of spontaneous rage motivated instances of violence from escalating past a nonlethal fist fight.

Yeah, brilliant idea. If other kids had had guns and started shooting at the shooter they would have been killed first since he was obviously a good shot and way more prepared and since the other kids would have been frightened and probably not well trained to use their guns they would have started shooting wildly and ended up killing kids themselves.

If everyone had guns, the campus would have turned into even more of a blood bath.
I think all Red States should require that children carry weapons at all times starting at age 5. It should help thin out the ranks of low-buck hate-filled trash who hate on me and my lifestyle, but would starve without my taxdollars being handed out to them...

I agree. If a majority of people carried guns for protection, that might make a robber think twice before trying to steal your purse. If he has a 50/50 chance of getting a .45 lodged in his head from attempting to steal a purse with maybe $100 in it, I'd sure as hell be thinking twice about it.
Regardless of whether we take guns away from people legally, the criminals are always going to have guns. Considering most all criminals who carry guns obtained them illegally. What's to stop them from getting them illegally after a ban. It's going to make matters worse with more violence as the gun market will turn into the drug market.

All i am saying is that if our country feels the need to have a "war on drugs" where is there war on violence? Nobody should have a handgun or automatic weapon in this country not one single person. As far as not attacking police stations or army bases i give you this "A heavily armed teenager who killed a detective and wounded two officers in a shootout outside a suburban Washington police station" "In all, the young shooter fired off at least 70 rounds before he was killed, Maj. Bob Callahan said. He said the teen had been armed with a high-powered hunting rifle, five pistols and an AK-47-style assault weapon." or the six islamic militants who were recently caught trying to assault fort dix military base in NJ. "We had a group that was forming a platoon to take on an army. They identified their target, they did their reconnaissance. They had maps. And they were in the process of buying weapons. Luckily, we were able to stop that."

I think the best way to address violence is with a freakin' WAR. Of course then we'll need a WAR on the WAR ON VIOLENCE to keep that down, and in conclustion: shut the fuck up.

Making drugs illegal didn't reduce our drug problem. Making alcohol illegal never curbed the availability of alcohol. Passing laws against gun ownership just puts more innocent people at risk and takes away more liberties. It's sad that people get shot, but they also get stabbed, strangled, clubbed over the head and hit by cars driven by crazy psycho ex-spouses.

Its just like 9-11 if one good guy had a gun on each of those planes there would be no memorial HOLE on the island. OH and FYI NONE of the terrorists had guns. GEEE NOVEL THOUGHT terrorism without a firearm! Hmmm you mean terrorism doesnt require a gun? you mean I cant blame guns for terrorism and all other evils in this world? NO you blame the people not the in-animate object!!! saying guns hill people is no different than saying pens make mistakes....
