Kids and white carpet
I just bought my first house and it came with this white carpet. I have these two ungrateful kids who are old enough to know that they should NOT wear shoes on the white carpet,at least check if you have mud. But no not mine, white carpet now full of dried mud and leaves! To top it all off when I went to get on to them, they laugh at me! So when I started to yell they gave my the look of death. Yet when they get home from school I'll be the one to take them to The YMCA for all their sports. Where is the respect from our kids?Rating:2.33

1Sounds like the kids need to learn how to help take care of the house before their taxi service takes them anyplace else. Otherwise both the carpet and the taxi driver will continue to get walked all over.

4Your kids don't respect you because you let them walk all over you. The first thing you should have done is make them clean the carpet or dock their allowance to pay to have it cleaned. The second thing you do is stop doing for them anything more than what is required, like feeding them and getting them to school, until they learn to show you some respect.
