Israel the Hypocrite
It seems fairly obvious that Isreal rulership and supporting population has become the very thing that it claims to have been a victim of: a facsist state. Good going remembering and forgetting your past both at the same time. You righteous idiots will probably be the first to use nukes in the name of your version of god and right.Rating:0.00

Israeli state is a disgrace and for too long the rest of the world (the Christian world) have sat back afraid to denounce them. Say anything against them and immediately your told "that's how the Nazi's started in the 1930's. Sorry, but that's no excuse, I can understand the defence against it ever happening again but if anything it is empathy that should have been learnt.

I have to agree with the OP on this one. Israel is a fascist state. Any country that arbitrarily removes people from their homes in order to create a buffer zone and then have settlers populate said buffer zone are monsters of the worst order. One million Palestinians have been uprooted and have now lived in refugee camps for TWO generations. It has to stop.

And what exactly would YOU do if all your neighbors decided that their sole purpose in life was to exterminate you and your family?
Methinks you would arm yourself to the point that you outgunned said neighbors, and would not sit back in just a defensive posture. After all, the best defense is a great offense. You'd be proactive.
So, try walking a mile in their shoes before you judge them.

Yes, that's exactly what they should do... invite in their own personal killer. Welcome him over for dinner. Really smart.
Check back on your history, my friend... Israel has been attacked by a number of other Middle East nations at varying times since their country was formed back in 1947-48. And, each time, they fought off the encroaching Arabs, Palestinians, Syrians, Lebanese, Jordanians, and Egyptians.
I'd say that the Israelis were not the ones who chose not to "give peace a chance"... from the beginning.

They wouldn't have been able to do as much as they have in the first place, without the several-hundred billions of dollars funded namely by the U. S.
And I don't think it has much at all (if anything) to do with "doing right" by those seeking a homeland - but about OIL combined with the Fundies hoping that "The Temple is rebuilt". Bring on them End of Days, Man!! (yeah, right).
Besides, it'll be moot within 10-20 years anyway since their population growth (and immigration rates) cannot *possibly* catch up with that of their "enemies" - even within Israel itself. And FUCK but I am tired of constantly hearing about "one incident" almost daily (and for years and years) - in a country of only 7 million - when there are LEGION other attrocities going on all around, every moment, of every day.

You could say the same for Iraq under Saddam, Egypt under Sadat and Mubarrak, Iran before the Shah was deposed, and Saudi Arabia.
So, do you have a valid point, or are you just enjoying listening to yourself be a shithead?

#11 - since there are no dividends whatsoever to be gained from "loans" that are nearly all turned into "grants" --> hence are never repaid, and never will be - namely by Israel, I'd say there's a *bit* of a difference...

^ So, you wish to argue semantics?
America has funneled billions of dollars into the Middle East and Near East for the past several decades, and not just in the form of "loans" either.
But, I digress... your point was simply that you have no point. Grant, loan? Who gives a shit what it is called?... none of the other countries I named did anything other than squander those funds. Badly. And all defaulted "loans" were conveniently forgiven for political expediency.
Thanks for proving how much of a total fucktard you truly are.

As an anglo white person of mixed European stock, raised in america from birth as a member of the free thinking middle class, I've always thought the arabs and jews more alike than not.
Same stereotypical qualities of arrogance and pride; and an equally passionate belief in the fact that their God is behind them in their righteousness and their violence toward the polluted ones.
If any of the influential arabs and jews really did percieve anything of the Will of God; if they were to allow in themselves to be touched by the Love of God (and not merely mouth the testimony); if they could understand in any way the Mind of God, certianly they would be acting in an entirely different manner and would have established a much more mature relationship to one another after all these centuries.
No doubt the truth is percieved clearly by some, but these will not be the people of influence. They will be mixed within the general folk of the population, self-marginalized. They will find strength in personal honor, family, friendship, and an empathic understanding that affirming the variety and vibrancy of living means recognizing the humanity tha is our common bond. Us-ness as a result of me-ness/you-ness.
Good luck.
