Poor people
How really, do people end up really poor? is it because of bad choices ? bad luck? BOTH?? what??How do people end up moping floors their entire life? low self esteem? Not smart?
Sounds mean but i just dont get it.

Perhaps they didn't have access to quality education, or take advantage of the access they had.
Additionally, I grew up raised by a single parent, who had to work three jobs to keep a roof over our heads. Sometimes, it is a matter of the cards that life deals you.
Not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth.

I would guess that they have little to no education. Either because they chose not to go to school (through high school, the part thats free), or because their local school sucks ass.

Where are you from? Maine maybe?
Some people are just mentally disabled, or have to work crappy jobs just to pay rent, or to get food. Choosing A) crappy job or B) welfare, isn't a hard choice.

I think it's either bad luck or lack of education.
Some people have the worst luck in the world. They can be educated, successful people but go to having nothing because they just got unlucky.
And by lack of education, I don't just mean they didn't go to school, but they haven't leant the appropriate values that would make them want to go to college, etc. Deferred gratification vs instant gratification and all that.

First, there is no such thing as luck, there is only fate.
Poor is a state of mind. Some people decide to be there and some don't. Silver spoons CAN help, but not always. I know people that were born to wealthy families and are now destitute and people that were born poor that have more money than I ever will.
My grandmother is the richest person on earth and doesn't have a dollar to her name. When you hear her talk of the depression and tough times you'd be amazed how fondly she views them.
It's all a matter of perspective.

Most people are just stupid with their money. "oh, look! A sale on some shit I don't need! I'll buy it just in case I need it someday." <--- that's how my mother seems to think. Anything on sale (which is a joke, it's just less ripoff markup than usual) she just HAS to buy it.

I grew up poor. It was due to my mother's relationship choices. As soon as I knocked off my first stepdad by kicking the jack out from under the car, things turned around for us. I have the car today sitting in my driveway. Every time I get in the car, I think about him laying under there with a blood curdling scream like a little bitch with 3000 lbs on his chest. Maybe he should have used the money that my mother made on stuff for his family, and not dirtleg whores and cocaine.

Damn, you really don't know huh? Yet your rich, you must have been born that way then. MOST OF THE WORLD IS POOR! People are born deaf, blind, mute and dozens of other things. People are born and brought up by trailer park parents and have to drop out of high school just to work to buy food. Others get knocked up at 15, or raped, or abused.
MOST people can't stand to brown nose their way in the white collar world. MOST people live paycheck to paycheck. That's normal. Damn, there's a dozen other reasons. You've got it good if you truly have no idea why some are poor and some are rich.
I make 200 bucks a week and I feel I'm much better off than others I see around me. Yes I live in the USA, Orlando in fact. How come rich people can be so stupid??

No 11. and everyone..... as i am the one that posted this originally maybe i should let YOU know that i was born to a mother who was 16 , and my parents were both abusive drug addicts. I left home when I was 16... silver spoon??? I dont think so. Since then, I worked my ass off, got into a top ten university, graduated with a 4.0 and immediately got a job for 60k a year. IM NOT RICH. all while working my ass off and not even having time to sleep ... now im applying to medical school. ALL SELF FINANCED. so for me, other than people who unfortunately where born with intellectual disabilities... or horrible twists of fate that leave them financially ruined... how do people end up constantly needing help and living in abject poverty? isnt it all about the decisions YOU choose to make???? ?? I find myself judging people, because of where I came from and what I was able to do because I was extremely disadvantaged. THAT IS my question. And i agree that health is more important than money.
