WTF am I supposed to do about it?
So for the past month I've been having problems with my Durango dying on me. I've told my husband about it thinking he's the one who constantly works on cars and such, he should at least try to find out what's going on with it. He changes the air filter and gets approved for a new (smaller) car. Today the thing dies AGAIN, so I text him about it and he has the balls to ask what I am going to do about it? Yeah, I can check the fluid levels and tires, but as far as diagnostics, not a chance in Hades. He wants me to take it and have it hooked up to a machine. Fine, no problem, except that he has the money and I don't. My paycheck is spent on slightly more important things (babysitter so I can work, groceries, and gas for the gas guzzler). UGH.... How about we try looking into a more fuel efficient car that doesn't have over 80000 miles on it instead of fixing the one that will probably fall apart before we pay it off anyway? (Oh and the payments will actually go down too!)Rating:0.00

UPDATE: I had AutoZone run a diagnostics test on my truck. It needs a fairly cheap part that HE is going to replace this weekend. The new car is mine after Christmas! Much happier now.

Yes well this was after he told me to check with repair shops about diagnostics ($50 - $100) and someone else told me to go there for a free check. Not exactly the easy solution it sounds like. I'm NOT a mechanically-inclined person and have no clue what to do about stuff like this. Personally, I'd have gone for the new car we need anyway.

Glad to hear that things worked out, and that you'll be able to be rid of that Durango soon. Definitely get something that's better on gas. If you'll settle for a "new" leftover '08 you can save big $ on sticker.
