Unemployed....
This is terrible. I lost my job due to layoffs. I filed for unemployment. I went through ALLLLLL kinds of bull shit to try and get 300bucks a week, which i desperately need. They DENY ME because I am a full time college student, and school should be my first priority..... I am so confused. I have left a million messages for at least 10 different people. No one will call me back.So I start applying for jobs. And I mean TONS of jobs. I believe i have a great resume, and I am well qualified to do the jobs i have applied for. I go for interviews, and I think they go very well, but no matter what I get the same responses..... "sorry but we are looking for a permanent employee at this time." OK SERIOUSLY???? 5 freaking years or more isn't good enough to be a receptionist at your office? 5 or more years of my life isn't good enough to be a customer service rep for your company?? 5 years isn't enough to be a Floor person at your clothing store??? If your lying to me at least come up with a better excuse than that. And stop telling me you appreciate my "enthusiasm"
Ive even tried not telling them about my future career, but somehow it always comes out. I need a job, I have bills to pay, and I'm trying to put myself through school.
There has to be other people in this situation, I know, but SHIT this just sucks.
I've come to the conclusion that I'm gonna end up at some shit ass job like McDonalds or shit. FUCK. shoot me now.

What about applying for something where longevity isn't that important like waitressing? You should be able to make way more than $300 a week at a decent restaurant.

Every resturant I have applied at wants waitress experience. I have food experience from a long while ago, but not waiting tables.

Stop mentioning you are a student, then.
Each time employer hears "student", first thing that pops in his head is "summer job seeker - do not want".

Don't ever ever ever work at McDonalds. Yes, it counts as an "opportunity" but not while you are in college.
Many people work at MacDo as many as 30 hours a week or more as students. Imagine if you put that time into studying instead. That's invaluable.

You can always finance your education pole dancing. I've known several women who did it back when I was in school. One even graduated from law school with NO debt!

Some people have dignity and like respecting themselves.
Some people dont care if they graduate with debt because they dont want to be a literal WHORE

Who said anything about being a whore? Dancer does not necessarily equal prostitute. Get the fuck over yourself.

^ have you ever gone on a date, had a nice meal, gone to a show or dancing, and fucked your date at the end of the evening? If so, then you are just as much of a whore as any chick who takes money for sex. Only, you are a hypocrite, too.
