I'm still not your friend

It's my first year of university and I know less people here than I did at high school. I was never popular during high school, which means I did got tossed around and degraded by the popular kids constantly. Now, when I see these same people walking the halls at my university, why the hell do they think we're suddenly friends?!

They try to stop and chat with me like we're old buddies or something. Suddenly they arn't surrounded by friends anymore so they latch on to any familiar face they see.

I didn't like you last year or the year before and I certainly won't be your friend now! Get a fuckin' clue, you douche bags.

Haha. I think that happens to everybody when they go off to college. I'm looking forward to my reunion. I'm hoping we have a 5 year because that's only a couple years away.

They think you are friends because they've been giving it to you in the ass for the past four years, and expect you'll at least coddle them until they become popular in the bigger venue.

    C'est la vie! Use Vaseline!

Its called maturity. People dont have it in high school. I would recommend against being a dick to them. They were probably just as insecure as you in high school, so it is best to let bygones be bygones. You might find out about a bitchin party or something. Even if not, you never know what strings you will want to pull when you begin your job hunt. Im not saying you have to become best friends, just that you should be cordial. It is perfectly allright if people you dont like think that you do like them.

Comment 3 is what a pussy would do. Fuck these assholes. Let them get theirs. Let them experience the shit you experienced from them. Then laugh in their faces.

No, comment number 3 is what a mature adult (who is himself a college student by the way) would do. Your idea is what a spree killer would do

No, my comment is what someone who loves to see bullies and assholes get what is coming to them would do. A taste of their own medicine.

You shouldn't be an asshole to them, or be their friend. What you should do is get to know them because in the end you will have some benefit (connections?) and it does not do you any good if they suffer. It is win-win if you do talk to them from time to time.

The correct word is FEWER, not LESS friends.
Fewer goes with things you can count.

Less goes with things you can't count.
