Fast Food Idiots
I cleared a trip in the East end. It's not too busy right now. I get out of my taxi and go into MacDonalds for a quick snack to go. All I want is a large fry and a beverage.Now then. Have we all seen this before? Dumb fucking twat behind the counter that seems more interested in yakking with her friends than paying attention to her job. Okay, she did promptly take my order but she keeps yakking with her friends. I don't demand 100% full attention as if I'm a metal-rod-up-the-ass-Nazi, but this is a fucking turn off. It's as if you don't fucking give a shit about anything else. I could clearly ascertain that a simple take-out order such as mine should not take this long to get but it clearly did because your not fucking paying attention to your job.
So I finally get my stuff, get back into my cab knowing that the dispatch will soon send me a trip. Sure enough I get one. I look at my fries and they're over cooked. I'm slightly dissatisfied. I don't have time to go back in and ask for a new one because I now have a fare to go pick up.
So yes, these young teenagers don't place any value on their job because they live at home and don't have bills to pay. It's just a part time job and only the pay check matters. I'm not saying that they're all like this but there is just too many that have this behavior.
So in conclusion, how about making it a habit to place some value on your job "NOW" because in the not so distant future when you are living on your own, and have bills to pay, you'll find that being a Slack-Ass, Dog-Fuck, I Don't Give A Shit, Air-Headed Moron doesn't cut it in the real world.

It's simple really, corporate leans hard on managers, who bitch at supervisors who take it out on hourly employees who have 0 job satisfaction and will take their misery out on others, either by becoming sabateurs or by being rude to customers. It is a rare minimum wage earner who can do a good job in a crappy, abusive environment.
