Yes We Can?

WTF is that? Yes we can what? Let you tax the fuck out of us and pay for the jobless fucks. Stating we need to work harder. I have worked hard all my life. By you becoming the president is not going to make me do anything different other than watch my back.

I can already notice the attitude of we have a nigger president now so I am going to do what I want. Already walking in front of cars and cutting people off the freeways.

You haven't even read about it. You're probably going off some blogger who is pissed about "tax increases."

I doubt you make millions ... You'll be fine. He's not going to take everyone's money away.

    Chill.

I'm just gonna sit back and collect the welfare. To hell with working, because all incentive will be taxed out of it.

So come on, Mr. President... Send me the tax dollars. I've paid in long enough, it's time to take it out.

It's time for YOUR PEOPLE to pay MY way.

Now that's change I can believe in!

#6 if i was a lazy fuck like the rest of the welfare rats, i would join you, it's not that i don't like your idea, it's just that i'm so used to working, i would not know what to do with myself..... but yeah, those fucks need to start paying us reparations. great idea.

#7... I'm not a lazy fuck either, but I figure I'll work the system and get a Master's Degree and put it on the liberals' tab. My wife can quit working too and get hers.

Then, when the GOP returns, we'll both be in great position to take advantage of the new political reality.

    Who is John Galt, indeed?

Best wishes to you, #7... Hope to see you on a college campus or golf course for that matter, sometime after January 20.

    Regards,

    #6..

You realize that one of the reasons taxes existed at all was to have things like welfare, social security.. Etc etc etc etc etc. For someone to say something like "Fuck I'm just gonna stock working and go on welfare" is just contradicting themselves on the idea they think they have that's soo creative...

^ but , so many people do exactly that.... not about being creative, more of a measurement of laziness.....

Actually, #11, if one considers Thomas Jefferson's feelings about "activist government" one could reasonably come to the conclusion that this is a peaceful and creative protest toward this type of government. Governments derive their power from the consent of the governed. There are 50+ million of us who didn't give our consent, just like their were tens of millions of you who did not consent to the Bush administrations and did everything in your power to oppose his policies. Turnabout is fair play.

Consider also Jefferson's acceptance of revolution. To paraphrase greatly, he was in favor of it saying that a little revolution is a good thing. To that end, if the election of President Obama is a form of revolution, then our peaceful form of revolution is simply to play by the rules of the President-Elect and use the system he creates to our benefit.

I can't speak for others, but I've been a net producer for this country and its economy all my adult life. Speaking out against policies of the new administration may very possibly become frowned upon in the very near future when you consider liberal efforts to re-introduce the Fairness Doctrine to radio. Thus, with the possibility of my First Amendment Rights reduced, there is very little "legal" way that I can voice my protest. So restricted, I can merely act in such a way that is yet within the law to express my displeasure.

Further, when you consider Democrat discussions about nationalizing everyone's 401K plans and therefore taking billions of capitalization out of the stock market, working and investing won't be worth the effort. High taxes and government-mandated investments that will pay a whopping 3%? Why bother? What is the incentive to produce? Notice the stock market since the election? Think there might be a correlation?

Finally, my tax dollars have paid the tab for many of the people who voted for the new President. God love them for exercising their rights. However, many of these folks looked ONLY AT RACE and not at the long-term effects of what electing Senator Obama might mean for the country, the economy, and frankly their own wallets. Therefore, these folks who've lived off of my production can return the favor and support me. Turnabout is absolutely fair play and in this case well within the bounds of the law and the politics of the new Obama Administration. Obama has said he stands for the disaffected and the disenfranchised. I merely want his support and protection and am willing to join the disaffected and disenfranchised community on my very own.

^ Excellent points. I believe that perhaps I should take a little back from the system now, too. That Masters or Law Degree is starting to look promising.
