I voted no on 8, cause well i dont care if they marry each other, its not like im being forced to turn gay and marry the same sex. also im pretty sure alot of you that voted yes on 8 for religous reasons don't even live the christian way of life.

FL voted it down, too - at least I THINK we did, but in this state no one ever seems to know how the hell to work a voting machine. Anyway, I don't personally care, but I can vouch that the "straight" and "married" people I work with are probably a bigger bunch of closet deviants than any of the bi or gay folks I've had to deal with.

Funny how one of the most liberal states votes down gay marriage. I guess its alright for your tax dollars to go to welfare programs that cover the expenses of illegal Mexican and Asian immigrants (not too many of the latter), but you can't spend money on the ass pirates... Nice to see such cohesiveness among liberals.

This is a pissing match about equality. The proper way to handle the issue would be for government not to recognize "marriage" at all, and only recognize "civil unions". But that won't happen and gay rights lobby would rather have 2 wrongs than 1 right.
Leave marriage to the church where it should be and we wouldn't have this problem.

^Never thought of it that way but it's a great point. If we didn't have queers refusing to use their personal parts in the manner they were intended, we'd have more freaking people around than we'd be able to feed.
While we're at it, we should "thin out" the geriatric population. The only thing old people do is complain about skaters and smell bad. Who really wants to be 80 anyway?
