So I'm skinny
I'm 5'8" and about 125 to 135 throughout my life! Everywhere I go people think one of three things 1) I don't eat 2) I throw it up or 3) I diet or exercise to much. Wrong on all of the above I have a small frame damn it! Everytime I see someone I haven't seen in awhile they say oh you look good but you're to skinny! I know now tell me what you want me to do about it!? I eat a 2000 plus calorie diet and never work out except like walking or doing everyday things I don't go to the gym or anything! I eat, just let that be known! I don't go around telling fat people they're to fat so why do people think it's ok to tell me I'm to skinny! To much of anything is a bad thing right?Rating:0.00

I can give you tips.. But it's different if you're a guy or a girl. I'm assuming you're a guy, or else you wouldn't be complaining.
1) You won't gain mass without going to the gym. I used to think going to the gym = gaining "weight".. But.. In your case,... You need muscle... And need hard workouts.
2) Eat 5000 calories a day in good foods, like pasta, lean meats, fruits and vegetables, rice, etc etc...
3) Get muscle juice (go to GNC) and down that shit
4) Take L-Glutamine in your diet.. It increases growth hormone
5) Work out hard... Maybe 1 .5 hours everyday.. You will gain weight.
This shit happened to me.. What you're going through.. For so long.. And I hated it. I finally snapped and I eat and work out a lot and put on like 10 pounds

Hey 1, just so you know, skinny girls have body issues when they're too skinny as well. Being so dismissive and assuming that the OP must be male simply because the complaint was being too skinny is incredibly sexist.

^ Yeah, because women NEVER obsess about their weight. I guess the multi billion dollar diet industry caters mainly to men. LMAO!

Umm.. hello? I'm a woman with issues about being too skinny. I'm constantly grilled about what I've eaten that day. I eat a lot most of the time and am not bulimic. I don't work out. I just have a very high metobolism. I would love to be able to put on just about 5 more lbs and look "normal." Instead, I fight just to keep myself between 105 and 110 (I'm 5' 4"). Don't make assumptions when you don't know the person. It's just f***ing rude.

Ok ok chill I am sorry for assuming you are a guy, I have just never heard a girl complain about being too skinny ever in my life. I wasn't trying to be sexist.
Fuck.
Everything is either sexist of racist.

Oh, honey, your time will come. Your time will come. One day you will wake up still shapeless (I presume you are now) but covered in lard. It will catch up. I have never seen a 'thin' woman who stayed that way into, shall we say, 'maturity.' Its the normal weight ones who agonize about their size who maintain it. Enjoy the 'free' ride for now.
On the other hand, it is rude for people to say you are too thin. They would never do the opposite. They are jealous you can eat what you want (not necessarily of your exact size, but of you ability to eat and be lazy).
And you of all people should go to the gym. #1 was making suggestions as if you were male, but he had the right idea to suggest strength training. It is avoiding the gym that will make you fat in the long run. I think weight sneaks up on women like you because they don't work out and stay healthy at all. Remember, thin does not mean healthy. Someone who appears to be fattier than you maybe far more healthy.

Okay, I'm not the OP, but I am #6 and I wasn't implying you are sexist. I was simply making the point that you can't assume the OP is a man because some women do want to be a heallthy weight. As for working out, I work at a hospital where I am constantly walking for 12 hours at a time. I also have two small children, so while I may not have a traditional workout, I get plenty of exercise.
As for "my time will come." Tell that to my parents who are both bordering on underweight in their 40's and 50's. I got passed some interesting genes from them. My mom is 4' 11" and weighs 105. My dad is 6' 2" and weighs about 160 to 170. Not much of a chance of being obese there.
Even though I am able to eat what I want, I still eat healthy because of my husband and kids. I want to provide a good example for both of them and keep my husband from becoming overweight and having health issues.
Oh and #9, I do swallow, but only for my husband and he certainly enjoys it!

Fat isn't the only thing a naturally skinny girl should worry about. You can still develop heart and health problems if you live an unhealthy lifestyle, whether or not it is reflected in your weight.
I am not saying that you live an unhealthy lifestyle, but going to the gym a few times a week has many other benefits. I look to my grandmother who has been skinny her entire life, but also has had type II diabetes for the last 30 years.

I wish people would just shut the fuck up all around about things that aren't ANY of their goddamned business in the first place. Who died and left them in charge of "The Committee" anyway? Ah well - another pipe dream... Just tell 'em to piss off!
