I know buddy. I can't wait until I move up and up in the working ladder after I graduate... I have a good heart and hopefully I can change SOMEWHERE how people think about bosses and management... I wonder how most of these fuckers sleep at night.

It's not always the store management though. Where I work we have quite a good manager, but he could do a lot more if he wasn't restricted by people even further up and stupid company procedures.

^I say "store management", but it could apply to a lot of different companies and workplaces. Although my current management is the first one I've had where they want to do so much and actually been prevented from doing so. Pretty rare.

Because corporate America operates on The Peter Principle. Which is why the country is so fucked up right now. None of the big decision-makers are qualified to do their jobs effectively. The little guy turning the wrench or serving the customer no longer has any input.

As a manger, sometimes the employees suggestions are just plain dumb, sometimes they are wrong. most of the employees think their ideas are the bomb when in fact they are not. employees believe that they are right 100%. and that their way is the right way. well when you have 2 or 200 employees, somebody somewhere is going to complain that things are crap and that they have the solution. the solution is to go back to work and do your job 100 % not 75, 50 or even 35 %.
